The guy we picked up from the Nats for the bullpen (Hunter Harvey)...I watched him blow two games in a row to the Mets about a week ago. Figures they'd be willing to trade him. And on the Merrifield thing: When he refused to get vaxxed for a trip to Toronto before the ASG, then got vaxxed when got traded to Toronto; that tells you everything you need to know about his "me first" character. I'd rather play Massey and Loftin. Plus he's 35 now and hitting barely above the Mendoza line. He's 2 hit a week Whit. No thanks.

Maybe a couple years ago, but not so much now. Sorry, if you can’t get it done playing in that Phillies lineup, you’re cooked. And with MJ getting hurt today, I’m actually slightly worried the Royals do something stupid by bringing Whit back. We can do better.

We also could’ve been down by five or six runs considering the Red Sox were hitting the ball all day. Just chalk this up to a loss and move on. Sure, would’ve been nice to steal this one, but let’s move on. Enjoy the break and hit the ground running next Friday when we get things going again against the White Sox.
