Most of the suck came in a 6 game stretch. That stretch accounted for like 2/3 of the sacks allowed on the year.

The Chiefs have had less talent on their OL than this during Mahomes tenure, so it may well just be a bad stretch where a lot went wrong.

Play calling, injuries, continuity, decision making, etc.

It all just came to a crescendo at once.

If the rest of the year and playoffs look like the last couple weeks (not great, but passable), then it was likely just a bad stretch. Unfortunately, that happens some times. The Golden State Warriors occasionally went cold from 3.

And how many Super Bowls have they missed because of it? That is the task at hand should you choose to take the baton from Balto, who seems to have conveniently disappeared.

Nonsense. It's just an issue at LT.

Which is why they should just leave thuney there

xztop123 12-23-2024 01:30 PM

Thuny has as many false starts in 8000 snaps as taylor has in 80. lol mind boggling

1100 snaps for the pats in 2019 and didnt commit one hold or false starts

Tell me why people on this site want to go back to the dogshit we had at LT?

Because the interior running game isn’t as good?!

JFC

If Thuney starts Wednesday it’ll be interesting to see how the Steelers attack him now that two weeks of tape are out on him.

Name one then.

2020: Bucs-Fisher should have been traded long before that season and was extremely overpaid. Went down and had zero behind him.

2021: Bengals had 4 sacks with 5 QB hits and multiple tackles for a loss. OBJ jr was horrible overall and while you could say Veach went out and got him to be our LT of the future....He came up short on Silverback, and only gave up a 2nd round pick value wise for Brown.....NOT that risky, why not trade up into the 20's and take Darrisaw? THAT would have been bold "I'm gonna protect Mahomes" move.

And while this years SB hasn't been played.....If we don't 3-peat what do you think the theme will be for the off season and what will be looked at as the reason? EXACTLY

Should have traded Fisher before the season? LMAO

Sorry but I had to stop reading there.

If it wasn’t a big issue Andy wouldn’t have gone through 4 tackles in 13 games

Hey guys you ever think to yourself "Man 3 SB rings in 5 years is great and all, but Veach really screwed us out of 4 or even 5 straight with this LT business."

Oh, you don't? Good, that would be ****ing reeruned.

Oh it got better.

He was also "extremely overpaid"

Pro Bowl tackle who wasn't even one of the 20 highest paid tackles in football and making less than guys like Trent Brown, Anthony Castonzo, Taylor Lewan, Nate Solder, Brandon Scherff, Taylor Decker and even good ol' DJ Humphries.

Balto's just about as dumb as it gets when it comes to...well most things...but he's even more reeruned than usual when it comes to talking OL.

Hold on. We had zero behind Fisher and your solution was to trade Fisher?

Bl00dyBizkitz 12-23-2024 02:33 PM

Veach is really ****ing us guys. Why didn't he predict the future and make all the right moves?
