Yeah man I just don't see it in the cards

Some other team with much deeper pockets will outbid us by a mile, be it Baltimore, NE, or whoever

LT: Stanley
LG: Kingsley
C: Creed
RG: Trey
RT: Jawaan

If Kingsley is able to give you 2/3rds of what Thuney was able to at LG then that would be a massive upgrade.

Dude, I don't think you understand what constitutes tampering.

You are correct on that.

There’s some dice rolling involved but it’s the ONE chance the Chiefs have to get elite left tackle production in 2025-26.

So I understand that gamble given that they can fill out the rest of the roster in this draft class given where the best positions groups are.

Deberg_1990 03-05-2025 04:02 PM

Do the Ravens have a LT of the future ready to step up? If not, why would they let him go?

Gary Cooper 03-05-2025 04:03 PM

What is Baltimore's plan if he doesn't re-sign?

They're drafting at #27. Do they trade up for a LT instead of bringing him back?

2/3rds of Thuney seems like quite a stretch at this point. 2/3rds of Trey Smith would be ****ing miracle in year 2.

I mean the kid played G for the first time in his life in that Denver game allowed one QB hit vs one of the best interior pass rushers in football.

Not bad

Nate Taylor's hit rate is worse than mine and his excuse making is getting less and less inspired.

Taylor doesn't know shit.

Maybe they'll sign Stanley but he hasn't provided any insight here - others have made the same suggestion for weeks and still others said the Thuney trade all but ensures a veteran LT will be acquired.

Taylor is a hack when it comes to actual speculation.

Which raises the question, why didn't he play at Guard in the playoffs?

It’s such a Veach move.

Best FA LT since Trent Williams, and Veach decides he isn’t going to let that happen again… can definitely see it.

Can’t argue against going to the Super Bowl almost every year and winning 3…but I’ll always wonder how special this offense could have been if we had signed Silverback.

Veach would have had to hit a couple more times, but it seems he always wanted to stay in SF.

Going to go all in for Stanley or trade for Cross, I’d think

Sassy Squatch 03-05-2025 05:06 PM

Where the hell has all this Cross stuff come from? Seattle releasing Lockett and Metcalf wanting traded doesn't mean they're willing to tear it down to the studs on offense

And tearing down to the studs means building AROUND Cross.

He's all they have long-term.

Even a complete tear down and rebuild retains cross
