Chief Chief 04-27-2006 10:45 PM

I knew it was the Mcauley Caulkiin(sp?). Just wasn't sure which movie. And before I could get a chance to find out for sure, my boss came over and had me searching for something for him. :banghead:

Man, I'd need a clue to have a shot.

Mile High Mania 07-09-2007 03:09 PM

I picked that scene b/c it really throws you off track from the genre with this movie. Go back a couple of decades ...

Also - that guy isn't the main player, yes he plays a major role in the film, but he's far from being the star in the film. There are actually a number of 'stars' in the film and I think it's a classic.

sfchief 07-09-2007 03:10 PM

There were only 2 CR films... there was an offshoot 3rd, but it wasn't really close enough to be #3. And, I'm pretty sure this scene was from the original and not CRII.

I'm not sure but the guy bears a striking resemblance to a Geico Caveman.

Laugh In is not listed for him on IMDB, but the time frame and his period of fame wouldn't preclude an appearance.
You'll kick yourself when you realize where you've seen him from. And it's pretty amazing the ancillary/diverse projects he's been involved in over the years.
