About every 25 years people get excited and jump on the badwagon, I'm on it.

ARROW2 11-12-2007 09:03 PM

I'M ALL ON THIS MOFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sedated 11-12-2007 09:09 PM

As much as I've supported Huard, he didn't look anything this year like he did last year. Last year's TD/INT numbers (11-1) were his saving grace, but that has certainly fallen off.

fuck it, bring in the kid.

philfree 11-12-2007 09:21 PM

I'm on the band wagon! I demand to sit with Mrs Croyle though.

Even after dinner at taco bell and running a marathon in July heat, I'd still lick that ass clean

I've been on it.... mid-season replacement

jjchieffan 11-12-2007 09:32 PM

I have been on the Brodie Bandwagon all along. Might as well join the club as well.

B. Croyle 19/27 169 1 0

Brodie played well, inspite of the R-Tard play-calling

Just saw this thread ... YES!!! I'm on the bandwagon. As much of a realistic as I am ... I really hoping he becomes our QBOF!!!! He has a real chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tribal Warfare 12-16-2007 03:11 PM

Brodie played a damn good game today

B. Croyle 25/43 with 217 yards and two TDs. He would've had more if the Offense weren't giving up the holding calls.

Tribal Warfare 09-06-2008 10:58 PM

Okay let's call roll again..........

Who else?

Frankie 09-07-2008 02:26 PM

I'm still on. He got injured blah blah blah. The way he landed on that shoulder Clark Kent himself would have been injured. If a freak injury makes a QB a bad one, then Tom Brady is a pretty piss poor QB too.

Hammock Parties 09-07-2008 02:27 PM

Uh...smokewagon brokie?

Mecca 09-07-2008 02:27 PM

I hope some of the people on his bandwagon are doctors and nurses.

ChiefsCountry 09-07-2008 02:32 PM

I'm still in.

Pablo 09-07-2008 02:34 PM

He looked good while he was in..if Bowe would have caught 2/3 of the balls thrown his way, Brodie has good stats.

But then this injury BS comes up. And it pisses me off. I'm still rooting for the guy, but FFS, stay in one game and show us you're moderately durable.

Exactly. Croyle looked good today. He would have looked even better if Gailey knew how to call a game.

ChiefsCountry 09-07-2008 02:39 PM

Now alot of injuries I would be down his throat for, but a shoulder injury blows balls. I have torn my labrum in both shoulders and it was by far the worst injury I have ever had. You basically go numb down your side. And you can rehurt doing about anything. But still he had a good game up to that point. I have no clue why him and Bowe havent had the same connection that Bowe does with Huard. Thats really strange to me.

BossOrphan 09-07-2008 03:16 PM

If you watched this game (and his six losses and NO WINS from last year) and didn't drink, didn't blab with your friends, didn't eat at a restaurant and you actually know about football, as in why he's not allowed to throw downfield (psst... because he telegraphs receivers and it's a pick 6 waiting to happen), and you still think croyle is the future, worth investing in or even better than Huard, your brain functions irrationally.

I don't care if you have 0 evaluating skills even a drooling reerun knows the QB has to be able to play every game.

OMG, that was drool bucket worthy...

PastorMikH 09-07-2008 03:32 PM

Odd to me that in the game thread everyone is saying Brodie was actually looking pretty good. Then, as soon as he gets slammed to the turf and has to leave, everyone is ready to chunk him out into the street.

I said I'd give Brodie time, one game isn't enough time. Especially given that people were saying last week our OL would probable let him get killed today

DaneMcCloud 09-07-2008 03:33 PM

Matt Ryan would have won this game for the Chiefs.

No doubt about it.

damaticous 09-07-2008 03:33 PM

I still like Croyle and I'm on the bandwagon, but I have to believe that College is a LOT different than Pro.

I believe this year will decide his fate. Insurance, sales, real estate, or Pro QB. To be determined.....

Sully 09-07-2008 03:39 PM

I'm amazed that people are still standing by the "Just give him a chance" routine. he's had chances. he had chances in college, and he's had chances in the pros. He's proven exactly ONE thing... he gets injured... a lot. Even as a rookie, he got injured in practice. Maybe it's not his fault. Maybe they are all legit injuries. I don't give a rip. the guy absolutely CANNOT stay ont he field, which makes him irrelevant to our future at the Q position.

Seriously, behind the line Brodie has played with, I think most QB prospects would get hurt if they played much.

That's bullshit, plenty of QB's have been taken in the top 5 to horrible teams and not been injured.

That hit that injured him today is an example of how fragile he is.

Sanka 09-07-2008 03:44 PM

Im still on the Croyle bandwagon. Get him some coaches and some time to pass. I dont know if Im going to watch any more games this season if HuTard is the starting QB.

QBs are going to get hit. Put 5 Anthony Munoz, circa 1989 on the line, and QBs will still get hit. The difference is that Brodie seems to get hurt at a lot higher percentage than others. Carr got hit a ton, and though he was a horrible QB, at least he stayed upright.

Hell, that hit today wasn't even that hard. He didn't hit the ground nearly as hard as people are making it out to be. He's just easy to hurt... it's who he is.

Well this year you get your chance to become GoChiefs..

We should be able to draft a TOP 5 QB, then you can swallow his man love all season long and can become best buddies with GoChiefs....

Cant argue that, Croyle seems like a china doll... Kind of pissing me off.. The last thing I want to see is ****ing Horrid out there..

Nothing kills the season and excitement like DownField BigFetal...

I have my opinions, you have yours. If I remember correctly, your beloved Huard didn't finish a few of those games last year either.

Nonsense.

Matt Ryan's offensive line in Atlanta is just as bad, if not worse. I'd take Albert over Baker any day of the week.

BTW, the Falcons scored 34 points.

Croyle has proved time and time again that he doesn't have the body to be a NFL starting QB.

PastorMikH 09-07-2008 03:52 PM

Ok, why are so many Croyle bashers on a thread trying to support him anyway? Aren't there ANY threads bashing him you could join in on instead?

You guys act like the "Croyle Bashing" isn't unwarranted.

He cannot stay healthy.

How is that bashing him?

Mecca 09-07-2008 03:54 PM

Why are you calling me a Huard lover, I don't like him either....

Just because I don't like Croyle doesn't mean I like Huard either if you wanna throw that crap at me atleast get it right.

My apologies then on that one. I hadn't caught the memo about your change of heart on him from last season.

I assume because of a couple of reasons...
A) This is a board for discussion. Discussion often includes disagreement. Disagreement over whether Croyle is made of balsa wood, or is the next coming of Joe Montana is legit to have in a thread about the guy.

B) Someone bumped this one, and as people reiterated their agreement that we should just give him a chance, some of us wondered what "giving him a chance" would consist of, short of giving him 10 straight seasons of injuries before pulling the plug.

Mecca 09-07-2008 03:58 PM

I never once supported Huard NEVER ONCE, you have me confused with someone else.

The Dolphins would definitely be going all out on "Suck for Luck" if they sign Croyle and play him.
