The head coach gets say in who his coordinators are. Our coaches are leaving in droves-it isn't hard to connect the dots and see that Herm is a dead man walking.

Just an FYI. We have a guy on the Mane who works at the small airport out by Shanahan's house. He just PM'd me that Shanahan was there, and was getting on a corporate jet to go somewhere. What's weird is that only a handful of people at the airport know the ultimate destination (he's not one of them), and they're treating it like a matter of national security.

For all of you who are already whining about this outcome, check yourselves. Shanahan in a purely head coaching role is excellent. He couldn't do the combo hc/gm job...neither could Captain Kangaroo in Seattle. Shanahan is a very smart coach and will most likely bring with him exceptional assistant coaches. Dude knows the AFC West better than anybody. I think we would be lucky to have him.

Playign zone 80% of the time and playing it 20-30% are two totally different things.
