Nah, if it was nice out I'd at least be out on the patio with something tasty on the grill and a cold one in my hand. Cabin fever is starting to set in hard with me.

Ditto all that. The older I get, the less I like the cold. I understand now why everyone's grandparents go to the tropics or the desert for winter.

It would be the same thing in the summer for me down there, I hate humidity more than the cold. I'd be inside chilling in the AC.

I can deal with the cold and snow in my everyday life, but I'm sure as hell not going to go out there for recreational purposes.

I used to love the winter. Still prefer it over the summer but days like this really eat at ya.

I have a friend who is in the process of going back to school. She's a single mom of two kids. Her kids are at their grandparents for the weekend, and she called me to see what I was up to. Turns out she was struggling with her college algebra. I aced this course when I went to college, so I told her to come on over. It's amazing how much you forget when you don't use domething for 14 years.

I want to be a sports mom. I realize I can do that if my girl(s) could end up being into sports, but it's much easier to force on boys. :D

And their dad can teach them how to pee standing up. I haven't really mastered that yet.

Man, I'm sure little girls are great. Who doesn't want "Daddy's girl"?

But as a single dad with custody... two boys works much better for me.

We tend to like the same things. (video games and music, for example) And we can avoid all the drama teenage girls love so much.

And really, whatever issue they face... odds are, I've been there at one point or another. With a daughter? Not so much.
