Yes....MU breaking the pattern for the day...

It would be nice to see MU get past TT, OSU and get to the Championship Game which would probably give them a nice seed. Wonder if that would get us a game in KC?

Good game. I'm glad that Tech beat A&M last night because that sloppy start tonight might have dug us a big hole against a better team. Maybe Anderson should try giving those halftime speeches before the game, too.

That's all part of the plan.

I don't mean to say that they don't want a lead at the half, but Mizzou fans need to learn not to freak out if they don't have one. This is a deep, talented team.

Mizzou might not have the stars, but they got 11 or so talented players, who all know how to play Anderson's style of defense, and most of them can score a bit too.

Hell, they had Blake Griffin with his hands on his knees, gasping for breath before shooting free throws.

Good win. Let's go get OSU.

Good point. Barring 26 point deficits at halftime, you can't really count us out of a game.

It's not about halftime speeches. It's about putting one rested talented player after another, up against the opponent's slightly more talented players... and forcing those players to bust their ass for 40 minutes.

Well, the last I ever heard of someone setting foot on a vineyard there was in the early 80's, so things MAY have changed.

There's actually a place in Ozark behind Lambert's where you can taste some local wines and cheeses. There was no one in that section when I went in there last time, though.

ROFL I am sure. I spent wayyyy too many warm Friday afternoons after class at the winery west of Columbia. Les Bourgeois I think is what is was called. Good times.

if memory serves, there's a winery in branson... my father-in-law and his brother grow grapes an hour north of springfield and have made wine out of them (and it was halfway decent, fwiw), but I'm not sure I'd consider this area 'wine country.'

I've read that, at one point, missouri was PRIME wine country--as a matter of fact, when there were droughts in france the turn of last century (and wine-making grapes were dying off bigtime), they hybridized some of the grapes there with missouri vines... not sure if it's true, but I've read it...

OSU has got a ton of momentum and playing well. But it will be their third game in three days. And Byron Eaton is rather Chase Daniel-like, I am questioning his stamina at this point.

I like out chances, but again, it depends on what MU team shows up.
