Conference tournaments don't matter, unless you're Louisville. Late-season games matter, unless you're UConn or Oklahoma. Okay, that's pretty inconsistent.

Logically, it makes perfect sense.

There's really no explanation for it. Obviously the committee lessened the losses to KU and UT because of Griffin being out, and OU has a very high RPI. I think it all comes down to having the best player in the country though.

Cal, UW, UCLA, Az, and USC are all in. I didn't see ASU, but they would have been a mortal lock.
