Here's how they should do kickoffs. Imagine this:

The defense can place a defender in every five yard zone from the 30 onward. The kicker is at the 30, another player is placed between the 30 and 35, another between the 35 and 40, and so on, with the frontmost player positioned between the receiving team's 20 and 25. The receiving team gets one returner and one blocker.

The defenders cannot leave their five-yard zone, with the exception of the kicker and the second-to-last defender, who can run all the way to their own end zone.

You kick the ball off, and then it's a two-on-one drill ten times.

I don't know what the over is in the game, but I hope everybody took it.

That kickoff rule makes a huge difference. We're on pace for 28,672 points this year, up from 11,517 points last year.

Defense FTW

Saints should run an 11-man blitz on Rodgers, throw him on his head, and who cares if they give up another TD. Better knock him out before he knocks you out.

Cobb is nice as a 3rd, 4th, or 5th option but he wasn't a 1st round talent.
