But man, Amendola to the Pats is just a HUGE stroke of good fortune. Not only do they get a ton out of their WRs, but they actually do tend to be fairly durable.

Or even Fletcher Cox since they run a 4-3 and only have two DTs, which both could definitely be upgraded.

Also Beast Mode running the ball, Joe Thomas & Orlando Franklin at the bookends, a decent center in Mack. If I can add a decent guard I think I'll be in really good shape on O.

They also have needs at G or DT or WR.

A thought:

There is presently no punishment for not setting your auto-draft; you get the same guy you would've, only we have to wait for an hour.

Any utility in allowing a guy to fall a spot or two in the draft order before 'auto-picking'? Or rather than number of players, perhaps he has another hour of 'dead' time where he can be passed before it auto-picks?

Just seems like there should be an incentive to turn your auto-select on.

Or maybe, they auto-select but it auto-selects 3 slots behind the top player avail.... instead of actually losing spots in the draft, they simply are selecting not as highly a drafted player.

We can certainly consider something like that, which seems reasonable. I'd be hesitant to attempt a coding change in the middle of the draft, though. Maybe we gut this one out and implement it on the 2013 draft, which will be coming up relatively quickly. These are reasonable suggestions, though.

I kind of like the suspense, though.

He was at the top of my draft board, I wanted him. I checked the button, it gave me Mark Barron and Morris went poof.

It sounds like broth tried to draft him and got someone else. Better get that figured out first.

Wagner was #1 left on my list, regardless of Barron... He was #5 on my overall board behind the QB's and Hayward... but I probably would have take him even over hayward because of my CB situation.

It sounded to me like a recreate is that he had Morris at the top of his draft list, with the autodraft box unchecked. When he decided it was time, he checked the box since who he wanted as at the top of the list and somehow it drafted both Morris and Barron instead of just Morris from the top. That right?

It shows on the Players slected list at #11.. but isn't on the players team, he still shows in players available.. The players selected @ #11 should be A. Morris.

The available players list looks correct and that's the key for going forward with the draft. But yeah, the pick still shows Barron.

Boss walked in during the middle of the database changes so it took me a while to correct the pick showing for broth. In the process of all this, I deleted a player from someones roster. I'll track that down and restore that person.

I'm pretty sure this was related to something screwed up in the database from the restart and not a programming error. We'll see.
