It took this team too ****ing long to find his value to the team, which oddly enough was as a short/midrange possession receiver.
I predict teams who sign him will try to do that dumbshit "get him the ball in space cuz he's a lightning bug!" bullshit that Haley and Romeo tried to work in constantly. His new team will get frustrated when that shit doesn't work (like it's always been) and he'll get dumped. |

I always hated that he was trained to play 2 different positions. I said years ago the only way he'll make it in the NFL is if he learns to be a good receiver. This is really the first year that the team committed to him playing purely receiver and it started to pay off toward the end. SNR nailed it. He should be paid like a short to mid-range possession receiver. And he's pretty decent in that role. But he's going to get paid like a playmaker and that team is going to be really disappointed. |

theres a big difference between Cameron Wake and Weston Dressler
for starters one went to Penn State and other went to West East North Dakota Tech Community College one also has the proto NFL body type and the other is a midget |

Plenty of guys are there for a variety of reasons. It's similar (but not the same) to quality guys playing at lower tier/non-D1 schools. Sure, it's a smaller talent pool of quality players. Never know until you try it out. The people that are certain he's going to produce are of a different breed. |

I've seen exactly one highlight and have no opinion of Dressler. Basically: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/BDgcc5Sif3k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
@Jacobs71: As @BPerryKC pointed out Dexter McCluster is following the Cleveland Browns.
|
Yesssss....go to Cleveland and die little hobbit....

good for him. They got someone to run the wildcat when their next qb busts

Say what you will about Dressler and the CFL but you can't teach elite hands. He makes some tough catches, and not to mention in a lot of his highlights he is WIDE open. That means you are doing something right.

the Cleveland Browns
really lol |

Dude doesn't have elite hands any more than any other average receiver. And I could be wrong, but I think he might actually be shorter than McCluster. Dressler has about a 1% chance of catching more than 10 balls for the team this year. |
This is the only chance Dex is ever going to get to sign a decent deal, can't blame him.
Don't hate him but he's no longer a Chiefs **** him, i hope he sucks |

I'm going to miss Dex!

I hope he signs a huge deal. If you're not a DE or QB you only really get a shot at one.
That being said, have fun in Cleveland doucher! |

Whoever signs for McCluster has be able to fit into a Garanimal-Sized Uni.........

I expected Gochiefs to post the gif of the drunk in the #22 jersey getting a beat down.

The grass is the same color in Cleveland.

@NateUlrichABJ: Despite the rumblings on Twitter, a league source said WR Dexter McCluster "is not going to Cleveland." #Browns #Chiefs #NFL |
Please yes. I would love to watch McCluster get killed having to play the Ravens, Steelers and Bengals twice a year.
|
So the Browns are rumored to be after McCluster, Shaub & Revis. What a total cluster **** of a use of funds.
|
Signed with Tenn.
|
Random.....so he's what.....4th WR on that team?
Kendall Wright Justin Hunter Nate Washington McCluster? |

i salute your tinyness thank you for the couple of good plays you gave us thanks for getting smashed on a draw for -2 yards on every single 3rd and long thanks for fumbling like 5020304203 times prior to last year |
LOL I cannot get away from this guy now that he is with Titans. The radio guys in Nashville are loving the signing.

Yeah, it was against Buffalo.

How ironic is it that McCluster is going to the Titans, of all team names.

I think it's a great fit for TN. Not sure how much he'll offer as a WR to them because they have a pretty good core there but their return game was unbelievably bad last year.
Titans committed a safety on the opening kick off last year. Doesn't get much worse than that. |

3 years, $12m, $4.5 guaranteed.
That's a richer deal than Avery got to be our No. 2 WR last year. I stand behind this as a business decision. |
I think Dorsey is nailing the adage that "the best free agents are the ones you don't sign."
I wouldn't want Jackson, McCluster, or Albert on ANY of those deals. |
Well that didn't last long....

Shouldn't The the thread title read:
WR Dexter McCluster will not be returning IN KC. ... because for where he got selected, and what he's worth against our cap situation, that's his only true asset. |

****ing absolutely crazy, I know. |
1) loved his potential... "he ruled college ball and was a bona fide team leader"
2) started to get worried... "whats this guy doing? a roast beef sandwich would be better" 3) glimpses... "eh, he did a few things I can count on one hand, but still gotta ask... wheres the beef?" 4) draws back hands in fear... "lookout, we gotta badass over here... leaping touchdown grabs, incredible returns, crucial chain moving catches". 5) the inevitable result after a career year... "sorry pal, we cant afford you and your All-Pro demands, we''ll miss ya but maybe not as much as some people think". No longer hate the guy, as a matter of fact his 2013 contributions were crucial, but business is business and players like him shouldn't be too terribly hard to replace. Look at it this way, Dex... the second rounder expectations are gone AND you don't have to eat crap from old ladies ripping you a new one in their living room while you sign everything in sight. Good luck and best wishes, no hate from me. |
