The Ducks and the wild always seem to have the refs in their pocket.

ChiefsCountry 11-20-2015 03:21 PM

I'm loving the new overtime. 3 on 3 hockey is a blast.

DaNewGuy 11-21-2015 08:59 PM

Damn fell asleep only
To catch em Lose in OT. Oh well

DaFace 11-21-2015 09:30 PM

The Avs suck again.

ChiefsCountry 11-21-2015 09:32 PM

Tarasenko = stud.

DaNewGuy 11-27-2015 09:24 PM

Cats win in a Shootout 3-2. Heck of a game

DaNewGuy 11-29-2015 03:55 PM

****in Eh! Turned on the Cats/Red Wings game to see Campbell tie it up late in the third then hit the get the game winner in OT, let's go Cats!

Predarat 11-30-2015 03:04 PM

Preds kind of slumping, hope this is their main slump for the season.

DaNewGuy 11-30-2015 09:43 PM

Gadzooks your Leafs won tonight;)

Gadzooks 12-01-2015 01:47 AM

PBJ Yay PBJ
Sparks' NHL debut is a shutout. Not only that, both the Chargers and Leafs won a game in the same week. (they must not like high draft picks).

DaNewGuy 12-01-2015 08:34 PM

Pirri and Mackenzie put the Cats up 2-0!!

DaNewGuy 12-01-2015 08:35 PM

And just as I type that the Blue score haha

DaNewGuy 12-01-2015 08:36 PM

MacKenzie puts another one in !!

ChiefsCountry 12-01-2015 09:15 PM

DaNewBoy your boys are kicking our ass tonight.

DaNewGuy 12-01-2015 09:23 PM

Cats are gaining some serious confidence ever since that SO win against the Islanders. Love the way Luongo is playing

Cats are in Nashville tonight, should be a good one. Not sure what Predators team will show up, they have been damn bi polar lately. They either score a ton, or cannot buy a goal.

DaNewGuy 12-03-2015 08:25 PM

Good start so far 2-0

Bearcat 12-03-2015 08:40 PM

Good evening of hockey so far.... Avs have won two in a row before the inevitable home and home sweep by the Wild.

DaNewGuy 12-03-2015 09:35 PM

4 in a row!

Damn Luongo played a hell of a game. Howden had a pretty nice goal too. Was a bit worried about Jagr, he got hit by a puck in warm ups and left the ice, but did return to play.

DaNewGuy 12-04-2015 08:52 PM

5 straight

Bearcat 12-07-2015 06:06 PM

Forsberg, Foote, Bourque, along with of course Sakic and Roy will be celebrating <strike>the last time the Avalanche were good</strike> the 20th anniversary team tonight.

These are the times I find it frustrating that NHL Gamecenter doesn't broadcast any of the pre-/post-game.

You didn't want to pay money to also watch some Minnesota Wild hockey?!?

DaFace 12-07-2015 09:49 PM

This is fantastic.

Too bad Colorado gave the cheap shotting jackass wild 3/4 points, glad the A-V-S got them in OT though. The wild need to get the shit kicked out of them and miss the playoffs. Big win last night for the Preds but now they are back to back with the BlackHawks.

LMAO

I had the game on, but was unfortunately not paying much attention.... did hear several mentions of diving from the Bruins guys, makes more sense now.

Bearcat 12-08-2015 04:50 PM

Glad to see guys like Drury, Deadmarsh, and Yelle make the cut... loved watching those teams.

MMXcalibur 12-10-2015 01:46 AM

Just got back from the Pens/Avs game in Denver.

Man, they were one period away from showing Mike Johnston the door.
Oh well, I guess I'll take the two points...

Predarat 12-11-2015 09:30 AM

Damn awesome game last night for the Preds, good to avenge the loss Tuesday. A-V-S in town Saturday, though I like them too so hope they get an OT point.

Bearcat 12-11-2015 09:37 AM

The Avalanche are more Pens than the Pens.

Bearcat 12-11-2015 09:39 AM

Kane's point streak is at 24 games, but a long shot to this absurdity...

Quote:

Edmonton Oilers forward Wayne Gretzky holds the NHL record with a 51-game streak that started the 1983-84 season. Gretzky had 61 goals and 92 assists during his streak.

Chiefs4TheWin 12-11-2015 09:58 AM

I think Mike Johnston needs to go. I just can't take his cluelessness anymore.

I thought they could have called goalie interference on Kruger, but outside of that I thought it was a good goal as the puck wasn't ever covered/frozen.

Chiefs4TheWin 12-11-2015 11:44 AM

Is there any way without doing the crap stream thing to get local market games? If I could watch the Pens without my cable service it'd be gone and saving me money. Game center or whatever on the nhl website doesn't do local market does it?

GameCenter will black out local market games, even if you choose the single team option, but you can setup a proxy to get around it... Daface had a link a little ways back in this thread on how he gets around the Avalanche blackout.

Bearcat 12-11-2015 08:53 PM

80 shots in the Pens/Kings game (and it's only 2-2... and not over yet).

chiefs1111 12-12-2015 11:42 AM

Penguins fired their coach today. Mike Sullivan to take his place.

MMXcalibur 12-12-2015 11:55 AM

Halle-****ing-lujah.

CaliforniaChief 12-12-2015 12:03 PM

Kings are just rolling right now. The difference is their performance in OT...they're just loving 3 on 3. Last night was a shootout, but last year they were horrible in OT.

Doesn't hurt that the second place team in the Pacific would be 6th in any other division... and hey, Colorado would still be in last place there, too (well, in terms of points, not adjusted for playing Central teams).

2-0, perfect time for the Avalanche to give up 4 goals.

They almost did, but the AVS closed up shop on them and got another.

Chiefs4TheWin 12-14-2015 03:58 PM

Let the Mike Sullivan era begin. I hear his system is similar to Bylsma. Time will tell, but i'm a bit skeptical.

Bearcat 12-14-2015 06:43 PM

I'm glad it's not just CP....

Yay PBJ

Steve Stamkos, the future No. 1 center for the Maple Leafs is going to beat the Leafs tonight so we have a better draft pick.

Win/win (well actually a loss)

I'll never understand why we do so well against them. We have to have the highest win percentage against them in the league.

That entire new venue situation for the Islanders has me SMH, a ton. That is for basketball only. Feel bad for the long time Islanders fans.

By the way I'm seeing your boys play tomorrow night in St. Louis.

Panthers should just start parking cars all around bb&t to fill up space.

It looks super dark and depressing, It makes the Rams dome look lively

DaNewGuy 12-17-2015 07:20 PM

Trading for Pirri last year was so smart, cats up 3-0 on the devils

DaNewGuy 12-17-2015 08:08 PM

Lame how all the NHL's fb feed is non stop Pens, Hawks and Sharks. They never show. Panthers goals or anything. And their cover photo? A pic of the Avs..... gross

And don't forget the countless seats with majorly obstructed views. There are some seats that you can only see half of the ice. When the Coyotes moved from Winnipeg to Phoenix they had a similar situation when they were playing in the Suns stadium while waiting for a rink of their own. From what I read I believe the balconies on each end of the ice actually hung over the ice by a few feet. Fortunately that situation was temporary, but no matter what, no basketball stadium should have a hockey rink squished into it.

DaFace 12-19-2015 11:17 PM

Perhaps there's hope for the Avs yet. They're on their way to 5 in a row, so maybe they'll pull a "2015 Chiefs" and go on a tear.

DaNewGuy 12-20-2015 03:02 PM

Chiefs win let's see if the Cats can get a W

DaNewGuy 12-20-2015 05:48 PM

What a game this is holy shit

DaNewGuy 12-20-2015 05:57 PM

Barkov that was just nasty !! Cats win in a s/o

DaNewGuy 12-23-2015 11:12 AM

Panthers are probably the best shootout team in the league . 4 straight after beating the Sens last night

Bearcat 12-23-2015 11:28 AM

Leafs lost to the Islanders. The rebuild is back on track! PBJ

Predarat 01-01-2016 12:34 PM

WTF last night for the Preds but the Winter Classic is ON!

MMXcalibur 01-01-2016 01:36 PM

Love me some Winter Classic.
A hell of a lot more than glorified exhibition football games.

MMXcalibur 01-01-2016 03:26 PM

Habs win the New England Patriots Classic, 5-1.

Always fun to watch a team from Boston get their shit kicked in.

Bearcat 01-02-2016 12:08 PM

IIHF World Junior quarter finals are on NHLN... US/Czechs starting now, Canada/Finland have already played, but I assume it'll be shown after this one.

Bearcat 01-02-2016 03:40 PM

Canada/Finland is crazy hockey, even after they spoiled it during the US game.
