The big takeaway from this (most people already knew the Colts sucked donkey balls) is Carr's hand finally looks healthy.

The Chiefs–Raiders rivalry is considered to be one of the National Football League (NFL)'s most bitter rivalries.[2] Since the American Football League (AFL) was established in 1960, the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders have shared the same division, first being the AFL Western Conference, and since the AFL–NFL merger in 1970, the AFC West.

The Chiefs lead the series 60–52–2.[1]

The Chiefs are ahead in playoff match-ups with a record of 2–1.[1] The Chiefs are one of only four teams in the NFL (and the only team in the AFC West) with a winning record against the Raiders (with 10 or more contests)

Whatever Oakland does is irrelevant to us. We need to be looking at competition for the wildcard seeds, see what possibility for ten wins being enough is. We already got our flukey wins against Denver and San Diego. Not likely to happen twice. We'll be lucky just to have a January game however it plays out, being a 6 or 7 win quality team that managed to smoke and mirror their way to ten wins with defensive and special team scores. You can only beat crazy long odds so many times before things swing the other way to even your luck out.

It looks like the Broncos are eliminated? I used the playoff thing and gave them both of the remaining wins and can't see how they get past Miami and KC or the Ravens/Steelers?

I've got the Broncos still having a chance if they win their last 2.

YES. However, IF the Ravens win out and KC loses out, there is a scenario where KC misses out completely, and loses tie breaker to Pitt and Miami

Oh **** quit whining. Last time I checked, defense and special teams make up 2/3 of the game. The Chiefs won't be apologizing for taking the ball away on defense and being explosive and disciplined on teams. Just because the offense isn't efficient doesn't mean the team is not good.

Nobody wanted 13-3 (personally I was fine with it) so we had to lose a game, and we lose a non division game, now everyone flips out we will be 12-4.

LMAO

RINGLEADER 12-24-2016 05:18 PM

Figured it out...Broncos are eliminated unless:

They beat the Chiefs tomorrow, and next week...

They beat the Raiders,
The Bengals beat the Ravens,
The Patriots beat the Dolphins,
The Chiefs beat the Chargers.

As a fun aside, if all the above happens and the Raiders lose today and the Steelers win their last two games then we would host the Broncos in the wild card weekend.

cmdrzman 12-24-2016 05:19 PM

Lets just admit it

Oaklands the 2nd best team in the AFC. Is the Colts defense that bad or is oaklands offense that good? It's the latter. Oakland scores 30+ points a game. They are just ripping through teams ass like shit through a goose

Probably not, but if Chiefs win out, I don't think Raiders @ Broncos is a gimme.

CaliforniaChief 12-24-2016 05:22 PM

So basically for us to get the bye we're going to need 3 out of 3 things to happen:

We beat Broncos at home.
We beat Chargers on road.
Denver beats Raiders at home.

It's plausible, I suppose.

But more likely is being the #5 seed again and facing Houston or the Matt Cassel-led Titans on the road.

IF we handle that, we're looking at playing at Oakland (which I'd LOVE) and at New England (which I wouldn't.)

Honestly, if we aren't going to win the division, I'm hoping Oakland gets the #1 seed so that we'd get them in the divisional round while NE would likely deal with Baltimore or more likely, the Steelers.

But if we don't win our next two games, I'm not sure it really matters.

If you are going to do it, do it early and make them stand there and get cold.
