Andrew Luck is a fine example of why you should take sacks instead of throwing prayers

Mr. Laz 12-24-2016 06:32 PM

Why would Arizone throw the ball instead of running it and either forcing seattle to burn their last time out or burning the clock down to the 2 minute warning?

Dinny Bossa Nova 12-24-2016 06:36 PM

Heckuva game here in Seatown.

The average fan just looks at rushing yardage totals when comparing RBs. I can't tell you how many arguments I had with average fans claiming Charles wasn't great.

Marcellus 12-24-2016 06:48 PM

EP wouldnt have mattered after that.

Wow.

Highest average YPA in history, a 3 down back, good receiver and you have to explain that?

"He's good but he's always injured". I was hearing that particular argument back in 2013 when he had only had one ACL injury.

It's incredible how misinformed the casual fan is.

ThaVirus 12-24-2016 06:54 PM

I've had multiple arguments with Dane about his production. Dane claimed he hadn't put up elite numbers since 2012.

2012 was his career high in rushing yards but in 2013 he led the league in TDs with 19 (elite), 2014 he put up 14 TDs which was good for like second or third among RBs (elite), and he was leading the league in TDs in 2015 before his last ACL tear.

TL;DR: Dane's a casual.

Rain Man 12-24-2016 06:55 PM

It may have been discussed already, but I'm really happy for Cleveland.

Deberg_1990 12-24-2016 06:55 PM

Holy crap. The NFC doesn't look like much of a competition for Dallas at all. Maybe the Packers

ThaVirus 12-24-2016 07:01 PM

The Packers don't have a great team but they've got Rodgers and he is really heating up. He's probably looking at a 40 TD 8 INT kind of year. The guy is so talented.

Dallas has the strength but they've got a rookie QB. I don't think the postseason will be kind to Dak.

ThaVirus 12-24-2016 07:03 PM

What the **** is this ugly ass Chiefs sweated Mariucci is wearing right now?

Dak may get lucky and get the wounded Seahawks

This game is so boring. I'm a fan of defensive efforts but this is less of that and much, much more of futile offense.

Tom Savage or Matt Cassel?
Pick your poison.

Gilberry, Jeff Allen, Quentin Demps, and a boring game. It's like watching the 2012 Chiefs.

Rain Man 12-24-2016 09:39 PM

Bengals just made a 150 yard touchdown. The Texans might not take the division. Come on, football gods. Give us Matt Cassel in the first round.

RINGLEADER 12-24-2016 09:40 PM

So if Houston loses then they're at Tennessee for the division next week. If we don't get the AFC West and the #2 seed we're likely traveling to one of those teams in the wild card round.

Careful. Reality says one thing but karma might say Cassel for the win for the cheering of injury.

I'm willing to take my chances. The amount of karma required for Cassel to win a playoff game is larger than the universe unless they figure out that whole dark matter thing.

Had there been 11 seconds on the clock I think it should be a false start, and 1 second left. Right?

Jesus man. Cincy kicker misses a 43 yarder from straight on, in an enclosed stadium with perfect conditions. Succop hits a 53 yarder in 10 degree weather to beat up. ****ing kickers.

On the play clock or game clock, I don't recall? I'll assume you want to call it when they're starting to line up so the kicker doesn't get a free practice kick...
