I use a Waterpik as well, though cordless, without the water tank, and it only has 2 settings. I should've listed it just due to the fact, like you said, level one was like getting my gums tattooed on in the beginning and now the higher level feels like a thorough rinse.

We probably would die in each other’s gear but the waders wouldn’t kill you if you need them for streams up in northern AZ. Simms are used throughout the west, including CO and UT. If I’m fishing in AK I just add lots of under layers, which would kill anyone in AZ when it’s 110. I can’t imagine how hot that would make someone in your climate.

Took DaFace's recommendation and bouth a Weber Gs4 last year. It's held up perfectly. I use the charcoal when i've spent some coin on some steaks or prime rib or something, but the gas is nice and easy for those nights we're doing burgers or chicken or something.

Nice looking truck, congrats.

I used to have an SUV and would love to have another or a nice truck like that. But good lord, the prices of these vehicles any more. Even used.

If you had shit on your hands, would you wipe them off with a paper towel? If no, a bidet is almost certainly preferable. Definitely takes some getting used to, but count me in as a fan.

This you can make fun of me for having a bidet but you are the one walking around with shit residue on your ass. I would say it also saves money on toilet paper, now I only need enough to dry my ass.

Since it just hooks to your existing water line it would probably depend on the water pressure in your house. The nozzle is adjustable so I don't normally need to turn it all the way up unless I ate popeye's spicy chicken, then turn it all the way up to blast all of it off then way down to just spray your asshole gently with cold water.

I haven't owned a pair of Brooks before but I think I'm on board now. So comfortable, quality seems high, good for the gym or the street.

2018 Hyundai Kona, it's nothing fancy. It's my third Hyundai, I had a 2007 Santa Fe, a 2013 Veloster w/201 HP Turbo engine and now this one. I traded in a 2017 50th Anniversary Camaro. That was a beauty which I posted a few pages back, but it wasn't practical. This car is the Limited, which includes the 1.6 liter 175 HP Turbo engine, automatic, moon roof, leather, 6 speaker XM Radio. It's been picked by several organizations as best new compact/crossover SUV. I bought it for $24,200 plus tax tag & title. It is really spunky and fast off the start and I keep it in normal mode, don't even use sport mode.

One thing that I enjoy even though it may not be considered a "product purchase" was getting my TV mounted on the wall and having all the cables run behind the wall out of sight. Not being able to see a bunch of different cords and cables really enhances the viewing experience.

I don't sleep a lot during the day, but the last few weeks I've been waking up at like 5:30am with the sun coming up and had a tough time getting back to sleep. I'm hoping that having these in a drawer to throw on when that happens will help.

I've been really intrigued by the Kona, especially since it has the same engine and transmission as what's in my Optima. It would be #1 on my list if we had to replace my wife's CR-V. How is the visibility out the back? Most small SUVs now are so sloped in the back that it's like looking through gun slits. The CR-V is like driving around in a fishbowl in comparison. That would be the deal breaker for my wife (if it's hard to see out of).

Frosty 06-07-2019 02:03 AM

For those that bought bidets, what did you do about the slope in the toilet seat? I bought one but it was thicker than the bumpers in the front and made a serious slope. I tried to find taller bumpers but didn't have much luck.

Frosty 06-07-2019 02:25 AM

I have another product to list.

I have been buzzing my hair short for years. It was annoying paying the barber $15 for a three minute haircut so i experimented with different ways to cut my own hair. I had a couple of different trimmers that worked okay but the comb depth was always a bit iffy and they weren't all that sharp. I also tried a clipper set from WalMart (a Wahl set, iirc). It also wasn't very sharp and would pull my hair sometimes and leave longer hairs all over.

I finally decided to try to get a barber quality clipper set and settled on Oster Fast Feed. It could be argued that it's maybe a small step below what a barber would use but it's only cutting my hair once every two to three weeks so it's fine for that. It does a great job and buzzes my hair quickly and cleanly. It's 60 bucks but paid for itself after four cuts.

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....3L._SY679_.jpg

The one downside is that the combs that come with it suck. They fit loosely and there is no #1 comb. A lot of reviewers recommended the Andis magnetic comb set so I tried those. For some reason, their purple but they clip on and are held in place by strong magnets and don't move around at all. Well worth the extra cost.

Mine doesn't slope too much that it's annoying the plastic at the back is maybe 1/4".

This one has a second spray mode for the lady parts, if you want wet balls I guess it could be for guys too.

This one can hook to hot and cold water if you want to run the water line from a nearby sink. I haven't done it and don't think it would warm in time anyway.

This is the one I got. The wife doesn't like it and doesn't use it, though, so the single zone one would have worked for me fine.

As for the slope issue, it only added maybe a half inch of rise in the back of mine, which doesn't really bother me. I can see how it might bother some though.

I don't have a problem with the back window view, in fact my two previous cars the 2017 Camaro and 2013 Veloster had much smaller views. I learned from those cars to use the mirrors, plus the newer cars have a backup camera and you have yellow warning lights on the side-view mirrors when a car is in the blind spot. I also owned a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek in the mix. I liked all of them except the Subaru, it was real dog, only 138hp. The Veloster I would only go with the Turbo, the regular is a dog also. In fact I think hyundai is going to come out with a 275 HP Turbo Veloster in 2020, but it will be in the $30's.

The Kona I think is the best deal on the market, but that also depends on the dealer. Our local dealer wanted $3300 and my trade-in for the Kona Limited and I read Yelp and found a Hyundai dealer 35 miles away in Clermont, Florida. First off, they had 33 in stock to choose from and it was $200 and my car. The first dealer had an $899 dealer fee, if you see a dealer fee, move on and look for another dealer. They also make an all-wheel drive, which in Florida is not necessary but in snow country it's a $1200 option that might be useful. Also there is the Ultimate for $2800 more, the difference is a 8" screen vs 7", a heads up display on a pop-up screen, that's nice but my Camaro had that on the windshield, also navigation but I use a Garvin so I didn't need that, 8 speakers instead of 6 speakers, and lane warning, but same leather and same engine, so I couldn't see spending another $2800.

While I'm posting here are all the cars I've owned since 2013. The Kona is the only one I still have, plus my 2011 Yamaha gas golf cart. In fact I just got in from playing 12 holes, thunderstorm cut the round short. Everyone here owns a cart and most put their team's name on it. There's about 60,000 carts on the road here, the Yamaha gas is the popular and will last forever. I found out, when you retire and get bored, it's very easy to want to buy a new car.

I am loving the Big Green Egg I purchased last month. Certainly different that smoking on an offset smoker, but gradually getting used to it.

Even though my local airport does not have a United Club, most of my flights involve airports that do have them, so I splurged on a Chase United Mileage Plus Club Card a couple of years ago and have been very satisfied with it. It lets me in to airport lounges for United and their affiliates; I have it used it for about two visits per month that way, which is nice. It also lets me get extra airline miles for purchases, and it has very good travel insurance benefits. The trip interruption insurance covered my overnight stay at the Denver airport hotel in May when storms caused me to miss the last connecting flight home, about $280, and the loss and damage waiver coverage is primary, so it paid for some scratches I accidentally put on a Hertz rental car in November while maneuvering through a parking garage near the Plaza in KC. Hertz only charged me about $235 for that, and the credit card insurance paid that in full. Many credit cards have rental car insurance and some travel insurance, but the benefits can vary in key details and also in customer service assessing the benefits. My overall experience with this Chase Card benefits and the quality of the customer service they provide has been very positive, and I would recommend it to anyone who flies a lot on United, in and out of airports that have their lounges.

The Bio Bidet 2000 turned out to be a great purchase. I recently had my gallbladder removed so I find myself needing to use the bathroom all too often after I eat. This product is wonderful. No more raw ass! This thing has warmed seat, warm water, good water pressure, warm fan for drying and more. 100% clean every time. And it was easy to install.

For as much shit is spewed around here, I'm glad we could help keep it off your ass. :)

I got a chiefs fidgit spinner. For my stress and some sketcher slip on shoes for work. Fit well and soft.

Battery Charging Case for my S8+. A huge one. It can charge my phone 4 times. It makes my phone easier to hold. I don't understand why people like the feel of these very thin phones that are difficult to hold in my hand. With a case I can't spin it, drop it, do whatever I want and have the control too. Never have to worry about going dead too.

I've heard of it, but never tried it. Does it really make that much of a difference?

Oscillating cutter. Blades are pricey but for just about anything it can replace a sawzall, grinder, cut off wheel etc... great purchase.

It's amazing. One of those purchases that makes you feel like a fool for having not done it sooner.

Is this an oscillating cutter attachment for the Squatty Potty or the Bidet?

In 2013 I purchased a Dashcam for about $80 on eBay. I've moved it around in my last 4 cars. It's nice to have in the event something goes wrong. When I first got it, like most new things, I was always taking out the memory and looking at the video. Mine is like this one, but this is I believe the latest version, it's very small and usually you can put in behind the rearview mirror. Make sure yours has a capacitor and not a battery, they make them both ways, the battery one can be problems because of the heat.

Here's a video I shot a few years ago while driving where I live, in the Villages, Florida. My car at the time was a Hyundai Veloster Turbo. We have 35 two lane traffic circles within our community and a lot of people don't know how to drive. Here's a incident when drivers didn't know what they were doing.

That's pretty cool! I always thought about buying something like that but I don't drive like the maniac I once was.

I read somewhere that Russians use the most dashcams as a percentage of drivers and Chinese the most as a number.

I paid $11.87 for this disposable watch at Walmart. If it breaks I'll just toss it in the garbage and buy a new one.

It's not about you driving, it's protecting yourself from scammers or liars when it comes to accidents. Also being able to have video of crazy shit you saw.
