Thanks to Gruden signing Witten for that year of 13 catches for 73 yards. |
Travis will finish in the top spot.
|
Kelce will probably pass Sharpe on December 4th against the Bengals, but it would be sweeter to do it at Denver the following week.

Kelce's going to need 5,000+ yards and 50+ TDs to take the top spots. He's 33.
Highly, highly, highly doubt he takes the top spot for either, though the TDs will be particularly difficult. |

He looks pretty good in his college highlight reel, but my goodness he has improved by massive leaps and bounds. He appears MORE explosive compared to NFL talent. Unreal. My favorite Chief All-Time. |
Soak in every second of it Chiefs fans. He's the GOAT

Kelce should be considered for league MVP, I don't care what position he plays

God, Kelce really is the GOAT.

Is that 11 TDs already?

Chargers will be really glad when Kelce is retired. Another game where Travis absolutely torched them, especially in critical situations.

11 TD’s. 7 from tying Gronk’s TD record for a TE in a season. I hope he breaks it

His ability to always get open and then slither his way into the end zone is almost magical.

I wonder what he will say about Mahomes tomorrow? |

Heck Mahomes could dominate even without Kelce and Skip would still say "Mahomes is just a product of Andy Reid! He's a mad scientist!" |
So i heard the stat, him and Mahomes are number 2 in Chiefs history for TD combo. Who is number 1? Taylor and Dawson?

So many idiots on Twitter saying "Gronk is the greatest without question". Bunch of chowderhead Brady fanboys. Gronk was great yes, but he's not even on par with Gonzalez or Gates. Let alone Travis Kelce.

This thread is accurate. He was cementing it back in 2019. At this point he’s just putting his name above all others.
|
Travis should be in the conversation for MVP. He's been that great this year.
|
kelce pace
1,453 yards 19 TDs |
He is just really smart , all game he was engaging/battling James y starting his routes going up field but on the GWS he just bolts sideways almost backwards just avoiding any contact I think It surprised James, like he was setting him up for that route all game just when he needed it.

We're witnessing Kelce rival his peak right now, but many still won't agree because Gronk put up the numbers while being basically an extra lineman when blocking. |

I think the only other candidate would be Trent Green and Tony Gonzalez, but I bet it was Dawson and taylor. |
There is nothing left for him prove. He is the GOAT of TE's, case closed.

Today on his show Jim Rome said Kelce is the best football player in the NFL period

50 Greatest QB-WR Duos in NFL History
15. Len Dawson and Otis Taylor Where: Kansas City Chiefs When: 1965-1975 Len Dawson and Otis Taylor were teammates for the Kansas City Chiefs from 1965-1975, and their success is unmatched in the history of this franchise. Dawson led the then-Dallas Texans to an AFL Championship in 1962, but the fun really got started when Otis Taylor joined Dawson in Kansas City in 1965 after they moved from Texas. Kansas City took part in Super Bowl I against the Green Bay Packers, only to lose to Bart Starr. However, a couple years later the Chiefs upended the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV, the last title of any kind for Kansas City. In all, Kansas City finished with winning records in nine consecutive seasons, from 1965-1973, and these two were primary reasons for that. Taylor caught 410 passes for more than 7,300 yards in his 11 seasons with Dawson in Kansas City. Dawson still remains the franchise's career leader in passing yards and finally joined the Hall of Fame in 1987 after being a finalist in 1982 and 1986. Taylor is still waiting and will probably never get the call. https://syndication.bleacherreport.c...story.amp.html |

"Travis Kelce has the most receiving yards in a tight end's first 11 seasons in NFL history.
Kelce is in his 10th season and did not catch a pass as a rookie" Incredible. |
Watched some sports show the other day and two of the commentators (former NFL players; can't remember their names right now) were saying that Kelce should be considered for MVP. They even went to the degree of saying that if they were drafting for a new expansion team, and you could pick any players off of any rosters, they'd pick Mahomes, Allen, Hurts, Tua and then Kelce before any other players.
How did they put it . . . something like, "Travis Kelce was the most valuable non-QB player in the league, and more valuable than all but a handful of QBs today." That's paraphrased of course, but that was the gist of it. |
that's what they used to say about tyreek LMAO
so...was it kelce all along? LMAO LMAO LMAO |

Personally, I've always thought that the key to the offense was always Travis. Travis was always the real WR1. that's not to say that Tyreek wasn't important, because he was. but the true got-to-have-it guy was always Travis. |
Kelce with 2 more playoff TDs and close to 100 yards receiving.
He is moving up the record books. |
Yep. 14 postseason touchdowns puts him 3rd all time.. Gronk has 15, Rice with 21.
2nd only to Jerry Rice in postseason receptions |
Where would we be without him?
He is the Patrick Mahomes of Tight Ends |
Nice little record for him today as the only tight end in NFL history with 14 catches in a playoff game.
