They need to recruit. K-State can't afford to have players like Seth Porter returning kickoffs/playing WR and Ross Edler playing safety.

And not only recruit, but needing to get actual good players, not some walk-on players.

And I also would say that Courtney Messingham (K-State's O-Coordinator) needs to go. There's a reason why he got fired from Iowa State.

Sassy Squatch 11-07-2020 09:43 PM

Notre Dame really gonna choke this away, huh.

Coach 11-07-2020 10:05 PM

Notre Dame and Clemson appears to go to OT (pending official review and XP)

Sassy Squatch 11-07-2020 10:07 PM

Not bad.

Coach 11-07-2020 10:13 PM

First play of OT, bam. TD.

That said, I don't see any reason why in a "normal" year, Nebraska can't win 7 games to qualify for a bowl game, yet that hasn't happened during his tenure.

Consider yourself lucky it's becoming a chore to watch this team and I say this as a diehard fan. The problem is his in game decisions have sucked and his play calling is puzzling. As far as recruiting hes done a great job consistently getting top 25 classes and some real talent no doubt he will have players go to the league. 10 out of the 11 guys who should star next year on offense were 4* recruits and hes done an exceptional job getting talent on the offensive line the problem is they are just young.

The goal isnt to become the Osborne era that's impossible but Iowa, Wisconsin, maybe even Oregon? Certainly doable but it's going to take some time it was a bigger rebuild then I think anyone imagined and Frost is more green of a coach it just sucks seeing Campbell,Fleck, Kleinman and I'd even throw in MUs coach doing such a great job so much more quickly with less resources.

Titty Meat 11-07-2020 10:16 PM

Clemson doing this without Lawrence. Just give them the title.

Coach 11-07-2020 10:18 PM

Instant replay is starting to run it's course....

You could have Scott Frost (that should get a reaction)

Coach 11-07-2020 10:43 PM

And down goes Clemson.

FloridaMan88 11-07-2020 10:44 PM

Clemson will crush Norte Lame with Lawrence back in the ACC Championship Game.

Great game. Although I think Clemson will still win it all.

Mecca 11-07-2020 10:47 PM

It took Clemson to be missing half it's defense and starting QB...and still 2 overtimes.

POND_OF_RED 11-07-2020 10:48 PM

Wonder what kind of fine/punishment Notre Dame is going to receive for their fans taking the field like that. Personally, I liked seeing it. A little moment of normalcy in sports!

Should number 4 really storm the field though? Kinda makes it look like you think you aren't that good.

This is one of those games where I'll be actively rooting for corn and they're just bulldozing them.

Pablo 11-14-2020 07:16 PM

I really enjoy watching these Mich frauds get punked. Every year they let their fans are everyone else down. Always just almost good enough to matter and still end up sucking trucker dick for Arby's coupons.

It's beautiful.

FloridaMan88 11-14-2020 08:05 PM

If Michigan wasn’t so pretentious they would hire Hugh Freeze as their next HC.

He would bring an SEC-caliber recruiting strategy and modern offense to Michigan similar to what Urban Meyer did at Ohio State.

TribalElder 11-14-2020 08:49 PM

Florida QB Trask is a pretty solid prospect

maybe one of the New York teams can grab him

TribalElder 11-14-2020 08:50 PM

Seems like Harbaugh comes in and turns things around the first couple season

after that teams get tired of his bullshit

Indiana has a very good chance at making the POs if they somehow manage to win out.

That's a huge if. They still have to play OSU and Wiscy

tk13 11-20-2020 09:55 PM

Purdue is about to lose to Minnesota because of the worst OPI call I think I've ever seen. I don't think that's an exaggeration.

Purdue scored a TD to give them the lead in the final minute, but they called an OPI when the offensive player literally didn't touch the defender. Play called back, Minnesota gets an INT on the next play and Purdue loses. If that had happened to the Chiefs this board would have crashed for 3 days.

tk13 11-20-2020 10:08 PM

There was a quick moment of handfighting when the reciever turns around, but that's it.

Purdue threw what appeared to be a go-ahead TD, but it was wiped out by what looks to be a terrible offensive PI call. On the play after that, they threw an interception. Minnesota wins 34-31.

Here's the phantom pass interference: pic.twitter.com/oqI2EtfQwG
— The Comeback (@thecomeback) November 21, 2020

dont forget the raider game a few years ago

The timing of that flag, his angle to see the play, no contact. That ref is dirty.

They’ll lose today in Columbus but Michael Penix Jr is a really good quarterback. He has an NFL caliber arm and is decently accurate.

FloridaMan88 11-21-2020 10:30 AM

Clemson-FSU postponed three hours before kickoff because "both teams' medical personnel were unable to mutually agree on moving forward with the game."

Sounds like FSU found a convenient way to avoid getting their collective faces smashed in by Clemson.

At some point, they should be able to.

They had chances, just for whatever reason, they can't capitalize at the moment.

But they are winning the TO battle.
