This dude makes like 1/10th of what Orlando Brown does.
He might be the 3rd most important player on our offense. |

The perfect RB for this scheme and QB. Dawg!

He’s as close to “if we had Jamaal Charles in this offense…” that we’re going to get.
Hopefully they keep feeding him throughout the playoffs this time around. Especially when we get a lead. |
Just wish we got him a few years earlier in his career. Love the guy, but the decline is inevitable.

I've loved this dude ever since the playoffs last year.
It was a shame when CEH got the starting job at the beginning of the season. |
It's imperative that he stays healthy for the playoffs
|
If I remember correctly, he was re-signed around the start of training camp wasn't he? He's been productive here. Surprised that he was still available.

The Kansas City Chiefs had just finished a successful season, but they knew that they needed to make some changes if they wanted to take things to the next level. One area that they knew they needed to improve was the running back position, so they set their sights on Jerick McKinnon, a talented and experienced player who was available in free agency.
The Chiefs made a strong pitch to McKinnon and they were thrilled when he agreed to join their team. They knew that he was a game-changer and they were confident that he would make a big impact on their offense. As soon as McKinnon arrived in Kansas City, he hit the ground running. He worked hard in practice and quickly earned the respect and admiration of his teammates. He was a natural leader on and off the field, and he seemed to have a special bond with the other players. As the season got underway, McKinnon proved to be everything that the Chiefs had hoped for and more. He was a powerful and dynamic runner who was able to break tackles and make big plays. He was also a great receiver out of the backfield, and he was a valuable asset in the passing game. With McKinnon leading the way, the Chiefs' offense was unstoppable. They scored points in bunches and dominated their opponents week after week. They won the division and advanced to the playoffs, where they faced some of the toughest teams in the league. Despite the challenges they faced, the Chiefs were undaunted. They knew that they had the talent and the heart to go all the way, and they were determined to make it happen. And with McKinnon leading the way, they did just that. They won game after game, and they eventually earned a trip to the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl was a classic matchup between two evenly matched teams, and it was a thrilling and suspenseful game from start to finish. In the end, it was the Chiefs who came out on top, thanks in large part to the efforts of Jerick McKinnon. He had played the game of his life, and he was deservedly named the MVP of the Super Bowl. The Chiefs' victory was a momentous occasion, and it was a testament to the hard work and determination of the team. McKinnon was a key part of their success, and he was forever etched in the annals of Kansas City Chiefs history as one of the greatest players of all time. |

Love McKinnon. This year's Damien Williams super bowl ride.
However he's lucky that helmet that he threw didn't hit anyone in the head. Maybe a little less of that. |

Detoxing and HammockParties were two avid posters on the Chiefs Planet forum, where they spent most of their days discussing the latest news and happenings in the world of football. They had been friends for years and shared a love for the Kansas City Chiefs.
But despite their love for the Chiefs, Detoxing and HammockParties had a dark side. They had always dreamed of becoming rich and famous, and they had come up with a plan to achieve their goals: robbing banks. They spent months studying the security systems and patterns of various banks, and they finally found the perfect target. One sunny afternoon, they put their plan into action and successfully robbed a bank. They managed to get away with a large sum of money and were thrilled with their success. But their happiness was short-lived, as they soon realized that they needed to find a way to cover their tracks. They knew that they couldn't keep robbing banks indefinitely without getting caught, so they decided to frame someone else for their crimes. After much consideration, they settled on ChiefsAholic, a fellow poster on the Chiefs Planet forum who had always been a bit of a troublemaker. They knew that he had a bit of a criminal record and that he would be the perfect fall guy. So, they planted evidence at the scene of the crime and made sure to leave behind a few clues that would point the finger at ChiefsAholic. They even went as far as to send anonymous tips to the police, implicating ChiefsAholic in the robbery. At first, their plan seemed to be working. ChiefsAholic was arrested and charged with the bank robbery, and Detoxing and HammockParties thought they were in the clear. But as the trial progressed, it became clear that ChiefsAholic was innocent. The evidence against him was shaky at best, and he had a solid alibi for the time of the robbery. In the end, Detoxing and HammockParties were caught and arrested for their crimes. They were sentenced to prison for their involvement in the bank robbery, and ChiefsAholic was released and cleared of all charges. From that day on, Detoxing and HammockParties learned their lesson and vowed to never break the law again. They spent their time in prison reflecting on the consequences of their actions and vowed to turn their lives around once they were released. |
As long as I take that son of a bitch down with me so I can sell his chon chon in prison I'm good.

After their release, they went on a honeymoon to Belize, where they tied the knot and lived happily ever after. |
Just have to give McKinnon some love. Dude is a ****ing incredible back. Not a weakness in his game. Great vision, Receiving, Finishing ability, pass blocking, run blocking. Very glad he’s a Chief.
|
this dude deserves a shout out for a great season.
56 catches, 500 (800 total yards) yards and 9 touchdowns receiving for us out of the backfield. Definitely an undervalued/underrated player for us. |
He's freakin good at football imho
|
He had more receiving touchdowns than Justin Jefferson this year

The thing that’s nearly impossible to defend with McKinnon is that defenses can either keep eyes on Mahomes to limit his ability to beat you with his legs or you can defend the “McKinnon out of the backfield” with that athletic guy. -But you can’t really do both- Especially when you need to focus resources on limiting Kelce and the speed we have all over the place.
Both backs should be able to feast in the playoffs…but McKinnon should be able to be especially impactful. It’s a beautiful cheat code. They better not bring CEH back and even make him active on game days. |

The back in the flats is a huge part of how this offense is drawn up. If the defense is in man, the back should have one guy, usually a LB to beat. It's Patrick looking downfield and not taking the checkdown when we go long stretches without hitting the backs. He's the anti-Smith, which is why we love him, but this offense is at it's best when it takes what is schematically there. |
McKinnon has earned himself a pay raise and a new contract with the Chiefs. If we could get something for CEH I'd be open to trading him and contract Jones on a 1 year deal. If we can't, it looks like CEH might be relegated to the RB3/ST spot.
|
CEH has shown he should not be on this team next year. His days in KC are numbered.

First RB in NFL HISTORY to have receiving TDs in 6 straight games.

Jet won AFC Offensive Player of the Month. Good for him!
I see a lot of fans screaming we must pay the guy, but I highly doubt it happens. I don't know when people are going to figure out you can plug basically any RB into this system (who isn't a short slow weak midget) and get production. There are going to be guys like him and JJSS every offseason who want to come here and earn a payday. I'd like to keep him, but if he's looking for anything more than a modest 2 year deal, he's prbably going to have to go elsewhere, especially at his age. |

Wouldn't think there are going to be teams lining up for him but you never know these days. Hope they can work something out, the 1-2 punch of Pac and Mac is really humming. |
Yeah, Mck ain't going anywhere. It's the perfect fit, and with not being relied on to the bellcow back, you can limit the abuse and keep him healthier. At 31, he surely knows this. You can totally get a couple of years out of him yet with a managed load.
|
Love McKinnon. Actually think he’s better than Damien Wiliiams. But he is getting older.
I think we should try to find a RB on day 3 of the draft that is like him due to his injury history. |
His role in this offense is perfect for him. Crap he could have a long career here by just scoring redone TDs. He doesn't get tackled!

Do you know how many 225-lb reps Jerick McKinnon did in the NFL combine?
32. He did 32 reps. Most offensive linemen don't do 32 reps. Documentation here: https://www.pro-football-reference.c...14-combine.htm Video here: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/...at-nfl-combine He was tied with this guy, Rashede Hageman, who weighed 320 pounds: http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3562403/hagemanUSAT.jpg |
