Don't want to clutter up the thread too much but apparently they're going for some effort clause so they can suspend him and void his guaranteed money.

Exactly.

That’s why I don’t buy that the starting RG job is waiting for Long when he returns. At this point, Andy can’t feel too confident about his ability to stay healthy, and he would probably prefer to just let Smith grow into the role from now until week 1.

I think it's a smart gamble to give Smith every chance to win that job. He's the long term guy at the position. Plus I think you have a guy who is hungry as hell who wants to prove to the world he was over looked.

Corona owns him almost as much as the Chiefs do.

Just for clarification, they thought he was magic because he told them to not let the doctors do leaches and aspirin to their hemophiliac kid while he prayed the illness away. He was doing medically sound things…on accident.

But yeah. Easterby has a similar hold on the Texans owners. Well without the accidental success.

Gay is so fast. I think he's gonna be pretty good. Excited about him.

Wisconsin_Chief 07-28-2021 02:10 PM

I love that they are just throwing Humphrey and Smith out there on the line. I mean why the hell not? They are freaking monsters and I'm sick and tired of watching our interior o-line get destroyed.

Interior o-line is not some position where guys need to sit and be groomed. Just put them out there and see if they can play. If not, you've got LDT and Blythe ready to go.

Love the video. Keep ‘em comin’!

The no-look doesn't really look like a no look from the other side but it does look like a sick pass from a weird angle.

Per Rapsheet

Less than a day after CB Xavien Howard requested a trade, two playoff teams called the #Dolphins inquiring about trading for Howard, source said. Others have, too. Howard, by the way, practiced fully today and has handled himself like a professional.

We actually have a Xavier Howard megathread on the first page.

Gray just looks so smooth. He’s by far the best TE2 we’ve had in Reid’s tenure.

I’m clearly talking in terms talent, but I’m not scared to make a bold prediction.

Besides, the best is probably ****ing Harris. It’s not really that bold.

Mmmhrmm, already.

I don't need to see preseason snaps to know he's more gifted than Blake Bell.

fair point.

Really excited to see what we do with Trav, Noah and Blake in random spots this season.

We have a counter to everything a defense wants to do:
- Defend speed deep? Cool, we'll have our big possession targets fill holes underneath.
- Flood the middle? Cool, we'll beat you over the top and on the corners with Tyreek & Mecole.
- Drop 7-8? Cool, we'll have Clyde & the big boys wreck your world on the ground.

poolboy 07-28-2021 03:42 PM

Blake and Noah really improve the TEs

I think that’s what everything they did this offseason on offense is all about.

This is our counter to the NFL’s “blueprint”.

A nutless monkey could’ve come into camp and immediately been the best TE2 of the Reid era.

I'm thinking he probably could have ended his tweet after the word "return".

Let’s slow down a hair…I like the kid too but this time last year we were circle jerking over a TE I can even remember the name of now.
