Though as others have mentioned, it's probably more likely he killed himself and then the gators came for their supper.

So the parents went out and "found" his belongings next to a body that's going to be incredibly hard to identify?

And everybody said I was crazy when I said Betty White was going to turn out to be at the very heart of this whole sordid affair.

Gators are faster than humans for about 20 yards. There is plenty of food out there for gators is one reason you don’t see more gator attacks on humans. |

Brian Laundrie remains confirmed by FBI. A comparison of dental records confirmed Laundrie's identity.

Bring him in for a look?

Parents killed them IMO

Does anyone else think that this entire thing could
be a setup and that his parents planted DNA evidence to make it look like it was him? I know its pretty far fetched- but everything sure seems awfully “convenient” doesnt it? |

They probably kept his twin brother secretly hidden in their attic for the last 24 years. Just in case. Kind of obvious if you think about it. Quote:
That...sounds pretty plausible actually. |

All you'd have to do is grow a clone and swap all of your teeth out. I'm betting the FBI would fall for it.
|
I swear...some people watch too many crime dramas. I mean we don't even know if the guy killed her. It might be likely, but we'll never know for sure.

He was out there, he killed himself, the flood happened and covered up his stuff and him. The water went away and they found him. The parents are liars and knew exactly where he was and they should be charged with crimes. Nobody will ever convince me that they were with their son for over a week and didn't know he killed her. They are full of shit.

I'm sure it's "what's left of him," but I'm sure his parents knew a lot more then they were letting on. They seemed shady as hell. |
Quote:
Not saying they shouldn't be charged but a jury will have to decide to convict them. |
Quote:
What if he had killed another person while in hiding to keep his location secret? You just don't know what he would do. His parents took a real chance lying to the feds but they will most likely be free and just not liked. |
Can't wait to see the dateline on this

They have no reason to tell the police anything, and are protected by law to not incrimate children. Even if they watched him do it, they never have to say anything and aren't committing a crime. |

I'm just plain old Laundrie'd and Petito'd out, until his parents are found guilty of something... this story needs to DIE
|
He wasn’t charged with a crime until after he disappeared. He was only a person of interest when he was with his parents. Good luck charging the parents with something that will stick.

Let's all have a moment of silence for a loss of good taste. A young woman was murdered, we are acting like it's ****ing new years that the douchebag offed himself and got ate by gators. It's no surprise that the Laundries knew exactly where he was and tossed a dry bag to mark the spot. Or someone else did and they knew where it was and told the laundries and they found it. Laundries going down for obstruction.

Bringing the vehicle back could be a dead giveaway.

It's Svengoolie and Elvira season.

This appears to be a crime of passion. He's not a serial killer thats going to kill someone else. If its a case of someone else getting killed, totally different. The brother turning in the Unabomber for example. Then those additional innocent deaths on your hands too. But, if the FBI has clear evidence that the parents covered up something, why have they not been arrested? |
Brian Laundrie had a history of violence. It wasn't just a crime of passion. You had two dysfunctional people (Brian and Gabby) who should never have been together. Gabby, by her own admission, had insecurity and disabling anxiety issues. She could not stand being alone. Brian, who pretty much had his own ADHD issues, needed downtime from stimulus. Mix together and we have this outcome where everyone lost.
:( |
So he wouldn’t have done it with someone else? Poor guy was just with the wrong girl.

Considering he is dead and they never had charges against him for anything other than credit card fraud his parent wont be charged with anything. If he was found alive, different story.

They need to do dna on his body. Just too convenient only skeletal remains were found with matching dental.
I hope it was him. But this is playing out like a sitcom crime show. |

The parents cannot be held up on anything other than aiding someone who had committed credit card fraud. They never charged him with murder and therefore doesnt transfer to the parents for aiding a murderer which is seems people want to tack on. They simply cant, because it was never charged. |
Attorneys pissed at lost fees and fame, should be the only anger now. Bye dead people.
