Clark and Jones got healthier, Bolton and Thornhill kept fresher, Ingram added, o-line a stiffer form of gelling, turnovers exoriced. **** fear and any shaming. The lion in the streets! is witchcraft, bitches!

Holy smokes Bleeding Red and others are shaking in his shoes over this game.

Maybe you guys should go to the movies or something instead of watching the game.

Do people just slam the Chiefs all week in case they lose- then they can say "See I called it!!" ??

I pray to god we play a clean game with zero turnovers. Because giving Dallas extra shots at our defense could sink us easy and early.

This narrative was over hyped, and dumb. I’m not worried about offense outside of turn overs.

What scares me about the Cowboys is their offense can 100% play keep away with their running game if they get a lead. Defense is going to have to come up big. Health is on our side for this weeks game.

The wild card for me this week is their TEs. Shultz isn’t bad, honestly pretty good. With their WRs getting attention it worries me that he might get singled on Sorenson.

The Donks rolled them. They are not great defensively against the run and their 2 best D players will be out.

Late game at Arrowhead- it will be rocking.

The defense is playing with an attitude and will get enough stops to win.

Mahomes wants to beat Dallas in the worst way. He has family coming in and I expect him to be focused.

Plus- they have their SWAGGER back!!!

So relax and enjoy the win- it is going to be a great game.

Just trying to stay positive and not be a Homer. :D

They can also get blown out by a Turddy Brownwater Dungver team who isn’t nearly as good as their record.

Their top two DE’s are out and now it looks like LT might not be able to go. We are catching them at the right time health wise.

I think this is the best news, aside from their secondary it's a pretty loaded roster. There is no way their offence doesn't pick up a decent amount of points against us. That's not a knock on our defence, they just have excellent weapons.

Kman34 11-19-2021 07:52 AM

I’m learning that the Cowboy defense doesn’t play cover 2 very well… There’s going to be 7 to 10 yard open plays all day… Control Parsons… Take advantage if they can’t resist switching to man and we will score 35 to 40…. Their defense is full of risk takers…

dallaschiefsfan 11-19-2021 08:24 AM

Tyron Smith limited again yesterday in practice. Even if he goes, I doubt he is not likely to be his normal self. If we can rush 4 and get that blind side pressure....Cowboys are toast. If we've been "pacing" ourselves in the early season, you can bet they'll go balls out prior to the bye. That's an advantage. Nobody likes to go into the bye with a loss.

dallaschiefsfan 11-19-2021 09:00 AM

Also...with Gallup being back, that likely means Lamb in the slot most of the time which means Sneed on Lamb w/ Ward and Fenten on Gallup and Cooper. I actually feel good about that alignment.

wachashi 11-19-2021 09:07 AM

"Smith missed the last two starts with what the Cowboys describe as a bone spur in his ankle but a source describes it to CBS Sports as more akin to a mild high ankle sprain that was re-aggravated a couple weeks back, when he was forced out of the Week 8 victory over the Minnesota Vikings."

Has the curse of Haglund's spirit returned to pay its debt to the Chiefs?

chiefforlife 11-19-2021 09:42 AM

Look, there is a LOT to worry about with the Cowboys. Its not being scared to have concerns about a team that when playing their best can hang 40 on you.

The Defense with Parsons moving all over the formation to find weakness and exploit it, Diggs roaming around in the secondary ballhawking turnovers on a pace that ranks #1 in the league.

You could easily argue that this is the best team we have faced all year. There is not a single thing you can take away from them that will slow them down. Stop the run, no problem they will throw it all day.
Shut down the TE, no problem, plenty of other places to go with the ball.

Its pretty tough to stop everything on their offense. Safe to say we wont. They will get theirs. They will put up a respectable amount of points. We will not do to them what the Broncos were able to do.

Our offense will need to produce at a similar rate as they did in the Raiders game and I think they will.
Our defense will need a few stops, force a few punts and a turnover or two.
They can do that, the team definitely is capable of beating the Cowboys and I think they will!!

Ugh, Spags recently commented on how much he loves Sorenson and how happy he is he's back to form. NBC Sports fluff piece.

#49 is detrimental to the success of this defense. He is a depth/ST player only. After this season he needs to go, along with a lot of other players from the defensive side of the ball. More specifically, Hitchens, Niemann, Clark, Mathieu (cap).

I like that alignment and would try to put Fenton on Cooper. Fenton's technical prowess matches up better against Cooper, who is a sneaky, tricky route-runner.

That leaves Gallup on Ward. Gallup doesn't always play well against physicallity, so I think that's a good matchup.

I'd like to see the Chiefs stick to a more traditional nickel set rather than try running a lot of dime, which would let them put Gay in as a coverage guy and would give them their best run stuffing formation.

The Cowboys run 11 personnel nearly 60 percent of the time. Hopefully the Chiefs counter to that on anything but long-distance downs is their base nickel.

Ideally, that base nickel would feature Bolton and Gay. But we all know Hitchens will be out there.

Dallas is in 12 personnel about 30 percent of the time this year. I'd expect to see the "base" against those sets and actually like the run game matchup in those sets.

scho63 11-19-2021 10:30 AM

This will be our toughest game so far and possibly for the year.

Trevon Diggs is susceptible to double moves with as many routes as he tries to jump.

I think this is the game Tyreek can get that YPC back up.

Parsons can probably also expose Brown with his speed. But that leaves and opening across the middle in the short intermediate.

The Broncos OWNED/Dominated the Cowboys @ Jerry's place. The Cowboys did not score in that game until 4 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Second score was at the 1 minute mark. I hope the hell the Chiefs play them like Denver did!

The Broncos defense matches up better on the back end with the Cowboys.

Not saying the defense can't do well, it's just going to be much harder for them, especially if they can't generate a pass rush.

Defense is way better over the last month. Playing at home helps too. We’re winning this one IMO

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Here&#39;s a weird group of stats:<br><br>The Chiefs&#39; defense is 9th in pressure rate, 3rd in hurry rate and dead last in sacks with 14.</p>&mdash; Matt Verderame (@MattVerderame) <a href="https://twitter.com/MattVerderame/status/1461744467929665536?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 19, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

wachashi 11-19-2021 02:35 PM

The Cowboys offense must be difficult to gameplan for. They don't really have a strong offensive identity and just sort of do everything well.

With the Chiefs, teams dare them to run and try and force them to be patient. Easier said than done, of course, but that's the blueprint.

I'm not sure what the plan of attack is for teams playing Dallas other than, "execute"

Dallas has a varied attack and ability to punish defenses moving too far in one direction or another.

I'll still take the Chiefs to win but I wouldn't want to be Spags trying to gameplan for this one.

Hammock Parties 11-19-2021 02:39 PM

You beat Dallas by stopping the run. They are not good at long-yardage situations. They don't have a true down the field receiver.

I would take the ball here first. I want Dallas down 7-0 before they touch the football.

If you can get up two scores on this team they become their own worst enemy because they aren't explosive on offense.

That, combined with letting the Chiefs burn clock with ball control against Cover 2 really makes it tough on Dallas.

This is a game for Honey Badger to change it by jumping a short route.

That doesn't mean anything.

They don't have anyone that threatens you like Tyreek.

They are a short to intermediate passing game that executes consistently at a high level.

High completion percentage and catch rate keeps YPA up.

I'm not saying your wrong about how their passing game operates. But Cooper/CeeDee/Wilson/Gallop are all more than capable of taking the top off.

Looks like Cooper is out, according to the Cowboys beat writer.

Cowboys just named Connor Mcgovern starter at left guard over Connor Williams. Could also be big.

Yes, but someone is going to have to really blow a coverage for that to happen.

The Cowboys aren't particularly aggressive on offense.

This is a game where if we hold our water in the red zone we should come out the victors.

I think our corners match up very well now that Cooper is out.
