I iz a dumbass. Also, RunKC would have totally had the OP updated fast enough for me to not make that mistake. ;)

Edit your post and take out the pick please! |
Wait, what are you talking about DJ? He already made a pick for the Cowboys. Did you mean just for the Bears?
Either way, I will give him more time. |

For lions I was tempted on Dotson . However after watching these past years Metchie. Seems like he’s gonna be a better pro.

Like I said, we kind of need to stall anyways for the comp pick announcement. |
I’m always behind STaylor26 I always have it down to two choices he always takes one of them lol.

People were all up in arms about getting Eric Bieniemy a job so we could have a comp 3rd.
Apparently what they didn't realize is we should actually just be thankful we were able to get rid of Ryan Poles. |
Stalled out today
|
I propose we let the Browns skip ahead to make their 44th overall pick and then go in reverse order back to the Bears at 39. That seems like the only fair and logical thing to do...
|
Well, ****. Sorry about that, guys.
I was making that pick on my phone and looking at the OP, which hadn't yet been updated with the previous pick. Familial duties since then. Just circling back. I'll still make fun of Matt Eberflus. New Head Coach Matt Eberflus struts onto the stage to announce the Bears’ pick and delivers a wordy, complicated speech that upon review is actually a very basic statement dressed up by dramatic pauses and hand motions, just like his zone defenses. It equates to: “We need playmakers.” The Chicago Bears select Christian Watson, WR, North Dakota State. |
Quote:
That’s exactly who I picked for you. No worries though. |
Draft isn't moving fast enough, and this is Chargem's first selection. Should probably skip both of his picks.

The Seattle Seahawks select Cameron Thomas, EDGE, San Diego State.
The Seattle Seahawks select Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinatti PM to Gloucester sent |
I almost took Ridder for the Jets.
Wilson has some real worrisome baseline inaccuracy issues that would scare the hell out of need. And Ridder is a fascination prospect. Just couldn’t make myself do it. |
The Indianapolis Colts select Sam Howell, QB, North Carolina
Jim Irsay mumbles into the mic 'we aren't going to Andrew Luck this kid' before NFL suits escort him off the stage. Colts need a QB. They would of liked Pickett to fall but Howell was the 2nd QB on their board considering his experience starting and ability to step into the starting role immediately. |
I was really hoping Cameron Thomas would drop to this pick, but I’m happy with this pick.
The Atlanta Falcons select Boye Mafe, Edge, Minnesota |
So I just looked at Dane Brugler's mock draft.
He has the Jets taking Neal, Johnson, Dotson and Booth (in that order). I took Neal, Walker, Booth and Dotson. So 3 of his 4 picks are the same picks I made and the one I DIDN'T make is Walker over Johnson and he had Walker going #3 overall. He went with Best Available Edge at 10 and had Walker still been there, he'd have obviously sent him to NYJ. Meanwhile in TB he had the Bucs going Guard with Green but only after he had Zion Johnson going to Pittsburgh at 20. So it seems like Dane Brugler would be a fan of my drafts thus far... |

Cameron Thomas, Andrew Booth, Roger McCreary and DeMarvin Leal. In their places were Kenny Pickett, Zion Johnson, Trey McBride and Darian Kinnard (Johnson being a guy I selected. Like I said, it was really off the cuff). 2 DL and 2 CBs swapped in for 1 QB, 2 OL and a TE. So the CP draft fell a little bit better for KC, IMO, than my off the cuff draft. |
Cameron Thomas is such a draft enigma.
He looks like a borderline 1st rounder to me, and some others, but guys like Zierlein and DJ don’t even have him in their top 50! He’s not going in the 1st in almost all of the mocks I see. I just have no clue what to make of that. |

But guys like DJ and Zierlein, who basically work for the NFL, not having him in their top 50 makes me think there’s very little chance he goes in the 1st. It’s why even though I personally love the prospect, I’ve moved on from him in the 1st. |

The Cleveland Browns select Arnold Ebiketie, EDGE, Penn State
In a Division featuring Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Joe Mixon, Jk Dobbins, and Najee Harris A strong DL and pass rush is critical. The Browns are likely losing Jadeveon Clowney and need to add someone capable of getting pressure in addition to Myles Garrett. Ebiketie is that guy being one of the most productive pass rushers in the country at both Temple and Penn State. Pm sent to Rain |
IRL Chiefs would be itching to trade up these last few picks.

And to get up to 45 would require your 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks to get there. That's a pretty steep price. I think Veach would be going all William Wallace right now... https://media1.giphy.com/media/c16VH...qXOM/giphy.gif He'll start burning the lines up when it gets to around 50-52, IMO. With no 5th rounder, he's not going to want to include that 4th. |

FYI, I'm working on my pick. When I was walking home from the office last week, an inattentive bicyclist nailed me in the back at high speed, so I'm a hurtin' Chiefs fan right now. Also, one eye is still swollen shut from bouncing off the concrete so it's hard to read. But I'm catching up.

He gave me a phone number and said he'd take care of me, and maybe he will. But I haven't tried it to see if it's an actual number, and there were no witnesses around. There may be cameras, though, if it comes to that. But he left me bleeding on sidewalk and I had to go find help on my own, so I'm not optimistic. Quote:

I know the Vikings are confident in their tackles, but I think this guy is going to be a top 10-starting LT. The sky is the limit with what he can eventually be. Make one of the other chuckle-****s they've got move inside if that's the issue.
Plus... c'mon man. More Austrians in the NFL! The Minnesota Vikings select Bernhard Raimann, OT, Central Michigan |
Quote:

The Washington Commanders select Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State.
Daniel Snyder tried to **** me by trading for Wentz and moving me down in the second round but the guy I wanted fell anyways. Brisker is talented and this team needs more of that.....looking at you Carson Wentz. |

Franchise had to eat a little shit with the Redskins. One of these years we should just 'lock' the draft picks when the draft starts. |

Ryan Poles strides confidently to the podium.
"You know, people said I was crazy when I traded Khalil Mack for a measly second-round pick, but you know what? I'm crazy like a fox, mother****ers! That fool is getting old and has lost his edge. I need a crazy young killer for my coach to rely on defensively, an athletic freak of nature who takes what the **** he wants, when the **** he wants it, even if the person he's taking it from doesn't want to give it to him..." |
With the 48th pick in the 2022 NFL draft, the Chicago Bears select Sam Williams, DE, Ole Miss."
... Poles drops the mic and walks off the stage. Williams walks on, rips his jersey out of Roger Goodell's hands and puts that sucker on right then, right then. Meanwhile, TampBerry is located in the crowd, sobbing, as he mouths "Devin Lloyd is a LB/pass rusher!" while duncan_idaho sneaks up behind him, unseen, and ends him with a slooooooooooooow stab that slips through TampaBerry's personal shield. |
*Chiefs fans weep*
**** you Ryan Poles!!! |
That's a hell of a pick. Who were you going to take had Mack not been traded?

I don’t see a QB I think will be better than Winston and TBH I really like this kid more than the available WRs. I’m going with what I see as the BPA and know the pick will get some grief.
The New Orleans Saints select Kyler Gordon, CB, Washington. |
The Miami Dolphins select Breece Hall, RB, Iowa State

Great pick Boss.
He didn’t test as well as expected, but he still has more than enough athleticism to go with great size and ball skills. |

The Philadelphia Eagles select Christian Harris, LB, Alabama

The Steelers will be sending the New Orleans Saints a glitter bomb “thanking” them for stealing our top target.
Stymied by the loss of Gordon the Steelers really struggle with who to take at 52 and call around looking for a trade down. Finding no takers, they evaluate reaching for a few players they really like at positions of need vs. taking a player whose falling that GM Kellerfox doesn’t love, but thinks could have great upside in replacing Ben Roethlisberger. After stressful debate… The Pittsburgh Steelers select Matt Corral, QB, Mississippi (I went into this mock draft exercise committed to not taking a QB for the Steelers in the top half of the draft as I really think they commit to shoring up the OL and leaning heavily on Harris for a year before addressing QB next year. But I don’t think they could pass on Corral at pick 52 so I feel my hand is forced) Pm sent |
All is not lost for the Chiefs. There’s still 1 edge rusher that I really like.

When Lloyd is out there wrecking shit for us, you all wouldn't be hating
