It will be interesting to see if Amazon is still in the running for the exclusive rights deal. If the NBA wants to stand by it’s strong convictions I couldn’t imagine them supporting the website that the antisemitic link directed you to.

Should someone not make a tweet referencing the Bible? That contains rules about owning slaves.

What about the owner and his possible ties to cultural genocide of which

there’s no record of Joe Tsai declaring his opposition to the reported crimes against humanity in Xinjiang.
Quite the double standard.

Do tweets about the Bible piss off a huge segment of Nets fans/the public at large? Because that's what is getting Kyrie suspended by his employer here.

I'm a bit surprised he didn't quit the league and become a monk or some other lunatic nonsense years ago. Guess he likes the money too much.

If I'm paying $100 a seat to see Steph Curry (as I'm sure many did tonight in NO), I better be seeing Steph Curry.

POND_OF_RED 11-17-2022 07:25 AM

Steph Curry with another wasted offensive masterpiece last night. The Warriors are going to have to make some sort of roster move to shake up that team this year. They can’t think that Iguodala is going to be the spark plug they need to get them going and they have no other reinforcements coming. I think everyone just assumes they’ll right the ship, but they have looked like one of the worst teams in the league this year by far. I’m almost starting to feel sorry for Steph.

I haven't watched many of their games because I ain't staying up that late but I see they gave up 130 last night. To me this is an effort issue when it comes to their defense. looking at the box score you can't have Poole scoring 2 pts.

Their only play is to trade away the young guys or Draymond to see if they can get something good back, they already sent Wiseman down to the G league.

Championship hangover except for Steph...

Eureka 11-17-2022 08:43 AM

Well something the Warriors have going for them is that they have experience as a team and how to overcome adversity so I'm thinking they'll have a chance to correct their current play.

Sassy Squatch 11-17-2022 08:49 AM

They're pretty well ****ed unless/until Klay gets out of that horrible slump he's in.

I watched SGA a handful of times at Kentucky. Never would have imagined he would become what he is. Just had a knack for getting tough buckets, slithery and gets fouled.

Shai
Giddey
Jalen Williams
Holmgren

Thats a good core.

Draymond Green got into another verbal altercation with a fan and cried like a bitch again in another blowout loss last night. At what point do the Warriors just move on from all the nonsense? They should at least make a rule for him that he needs to get at least 5 points before he runs his mouth. That would shut him up most nights.

They’ll be lucky to cling to that play-in game spot after these next few weeks without Steph. They really don’t have anyone else that can carry the load when he’s out. Could be a pretty rough stretch for them.

The Warriors were 24-5 at this point in the season last year. Sure, they weren’t very good last year and benefited from other teams getting injured at the right time, but they were heads and shoulders better last season than they are right now. The off-season drama with Draymond carried over into the season and they made no attempt to solidify their defense after letting Payton walk in the off-season. This team is realizing the future isn’t as bright as they once thought. Who could have seen Andrew Wiggins resorting back to the player he’s been the rest of his career? ROFL

They should have been dead and gone after the Raptors beat them, KD left, and Klay tore multiple major muscles, but they weren't. Write them off at your own peril, I say. It's too early for me to call them out of it for now.

The refs certainly got the outcome they wanted in that Warriors game, I'll say that.

Definitely got some good whistles except for the sensitive T's. Refs are a bunch of pansies.

The Dirk statue and wording is bad ass.

2011 finals was one of the last great finals. Who could forget the pseudo GOAT being shutdown by, checks papers, JJ Barrea.

One of the best individual performances I've seen. Basically 1 dude took out 3 HOFers in their primes.

He’s basically the Draymond Green of the Grizzlies. Good defensively but runs his mouth too much as one of the worst players on the team. If they could ever make Brooks realize he’s only there to play defense I don’t think the Grizzlies would lose another game. I think they also rushed Bane back a little too fast for this one. He definitely won’t have many games missing all of his 3 point shots. The refs were pretty bad last night, but that was no excuse for the whole team to basically just leave Ja out there to do all the work by himself. I think the Grizzlies just overlooked them with no Steph in the lineup and the game sandwiched in between a couple games against the contending Suns. Classic trap game.

I know you have complained about him before but after watching him last night I noticed the guy is a ball stopper. Someone on reddit made a great comment that he plays like the Grizzlies have a big 2 of him and ja. Dude hardly passes and just throws up shots. I don't pay attention enough to the Grizzlies to know if his team mates actually like him but they never seem to come to his defense.

He is an asshole and takes over my top hated player spot over Westbrook. :)

Caught Grizzlies at Suns Friday night at Footprint Arena.

Sucks Booker was out for that one but Memphis seems like a bad matchup for PHX anyway.

They worked Ayton inside. Ton of points in the paint and I think Adams had 7 offensive boards alone.

Memphis is a fun team to watch.

I forgot the NBA was even on. The NBA hasn't been able to compete with the NFL since Jordan retired.

He is good. But I don't like him and the way basketball is being played with refereeing that favors crafty hacks like Doncic, Harden and Jokic.

I want to see guys flying through the air. Luka doesn't even have muscle tone. He didnt go to the NBA Combine because he knew his athleticism would be a turnoff to NBA teams.

****ing Euros. Garbage, crafty, soccer style basketball.

No way! Wow what a revelation the NBA which has 17 games and is on the playoff stretch beat the NBA (who appeals more internationally) which has 82 games and is nowhere near the playoffs.

Donks-Rams was such a nail biter between 2 top shelf teams. Who wouldn't tune it for that one?

Mid to late 80's to the end of Jordan's Bullsl run was without a doubt the golden years. The Lakers/Kings rivalry was kind of fun after that, but the East became so bad that it really hurt the game. I didn't think the whole Pierce Celts and Kobe Lakes rivalry was all the great but OMG Celts/Lakers!!! Blah. The level of basketball was poor and all the team hopping killed it.

Citing this is akin to arguing that Tom Brady isn't the GOAT because he lost scoring just 14 points with his undefeated 18-0 Patriots team against a mediocre Giants team. There are very clearly legitimate arguments against Brady being GOAT (and even some against LeBron, although those are fading with every record he breaks) but that certainly isn't one of them.
