Well, his team isn’t very good and they are 10-5.

They have beat 1 team over .500. Abysmal.

These fans should get their money back. They purchased tickets to an NFL game, not the Army/Navy game.

What do y’all think Baltimore will do with Lamar’s contract situation? NBC guys said Lamar is giving them 10 extra points per game compared to other Baltimore QB’s the last few years.

They're gonna have to give him the money and be stuck as the 3rd-4th best team in the AFC for years. No other real choice.

Key part of that is “compared to other Baltimore QB’s”.

Which would be the likes of Huntley, Josh Johnson and a broken down Joe Flacco.

Eleazar 01-01-2023 08:51 PM

They still seem to be winning a lot of games without Lamar, despite the much lower scoring average. But I think the Baltimore fans will revolt if the team lets him walk.

Lamar has to be fist pumping after that fiasco. It's agonizing to watch Huntley play QB

Buehler445 01-01-2023 10:14 PM

Wow Huntley is trash. What's Lamars injury? Seems like I had it in my mind that he wouldn't be out long.

Shitsburgh might have something with Pickett. That was a hell of a ball.

FFS Can at least ONE ****ING TEAM in the NFC do something at QB? I'm sick of all the QB talent being teams we have to play.

Gary Cooper 01-01-2023 10:14 PM

This is what happens when you run a college offense in the NFL. Even their backup is a mini version of Lamar just so he can fit this system. Pathetic.

mr. tegu 01-01-2023 10:14 PM

So the 2 seed could get the Steelers or Patriots while the 3 seed would have either the Chargers or Ravens. That’s a tough draw for the 3 seed so yeah we better not blow our last game.

KC_Connection 01-01-2023 10:14 PM

Chargers likely to be the 5 seed now. Not sure if that is good or bad overall but it's better than playing them in R1.

Spott 01-01-2023 10:14 PM

If the Bengals can’t get motivated for a home game against Buffalo, shame on them. It’s a huge game, regardless of the Baltimore & Cincy race to win the division.

tk13 01-01-2023 10:14 PM

Steelers beat Cleveland next week and it guarantees Tomlin doesn't have a losing season.

Cincy should still be plenty motivated. They clinch the division if they beat Buffalo.

Honestly it shouldn't matter either way, Cincy CAN clinch the division tomorrow night so it might motivate them.

philfree 01-01-2023 10:17 PM

I hate the Steelers but I got the pick right. I got the Bills tomorrow night and I hope I get it wrong. Can't pick for what I want to happen and I think the Bills win so. I think I dislike Joe more than Josh but it's close. A tie would be best!

He bails out of the pocket after his first read on every play and I'm pretty sure he's been coached to do that as well. They are well aware of how limited he is.

Probably not good. They're going to curb stomp whoever comes out of the AFC South but at least we're virtually guaranteed to not have to deal with them during Wild Card Weekend no matter what.

Effectively leave us these possible opponents for Wild Card Weekend if the Bills don't relinquish the #1 seed

Ravens
Patriots
Dolphins
Steelers

I'm not sure if the Bengals lose our how the math works but I'm pretty sure at that point we'd be locked into the #2 seed no matter what so we wouldn't be playing them regardless. Don't think it's possible for them to be #7 seed.

I may have more respect than the Jags than you do the way they're playing. Could be a pretty even game on the road if that's the matchup.

And if the Bills win tomorrow, you can knock off the Ravens as a potential opponent. We'd only play one of the Pats/Dolphins/Steelers in a 2/7 matchup (and probably Miami or Pittsburgh given NE plays BUF).

Edit: Almost forgot, the Jags are also a possible #7 seed if they lose to the Titans as unlikely as it seems.

tk13 01-01-2023 10:31 PM

Jacksonville stomped the daylights out of the Chargers in Los Angeles. That was early in the season but still it wasn't even a close game. I'm sure it'd be much closer this time but it's not a gimme.
