Caleb Williams career is in Ryan Poles hands. Don’t **** it up bud
(Ben Johnson is the easy answer here). <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Notes from <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bears?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Bears</a> President Kevin Warren today:<br>-- GM Ryan Poles is staying and will run the search with Warren.<br>-- "This will be the most coveted job in the National Football League this year."<br>-- Asked who will have final say, Warren said Poles will, but added that they'll do…</p>— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href="https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1863644648003997982?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 2, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

They’re projected to be top 5 in available cap space for 2025 and will likely have a top 10 pick again.
Yeah, that should be a pretty highly coveted job so long as the incoming coach believes in Williams. |
Nagy homecoming?
|
Talented but will probably have a lot of coaches in his time, like Rodgers.
|
Caleb is what Pat might've become if he'd been unlucky enough to go to a shitshow organization like CHI/NYJ/NYG etc. It'll probably take a minor miracle and seems ridiculously obvious, but it's absolutely imperative CHI hire a great offensive minded head coach in 2025 so that Caleb has a real chance to develop properly. Can't half-ass it, can't go bargain-bin or get some 1st year OC that showed some flash, they have to get a great one to fix Caleb's shit before he goes down the toilet with an endless parade of shitty coaches year after year.

Bears and Jets can swop fired head coaches. So all can be right in the world
|
Give them Nagy

USC would probably pay for the Bears to hire Lincoln Riley away from them at this point.
