Good lord Jacksonville.

Glad the Chiefs would never do something like that. Definitely not in an AFCCG.

comochiefsfan 12-17-2023 08:44 PM

Holy shit lol.

Just basic football common sense to throw to the endzone there.

He's not. His numbers are nowhere close to what he was in 2019.

hahahahahahahahahah. There was zero doubt that was gonna happen. You need a brain to play QB in the NFL. Pederson has done a great job getting this idiot to his absolute ceiling.

mr. tegu 12-17-2023 08:45 PM

I’m still in shock he would make that throw. Spike it and you get two passes into the end zone.

Alex Smith with a 4.4 is a problem.

Just gotta hope he keeps shriveling up like Alex did in January.

Jags are so bad

No, what's a problem for other teams is the Ravens being the best defense in the league and their league leading rushing game.

Neither of those things has anything to do with Lamar Jackson's ability (or rather inability) to throw accurately.

Need two losses though.

Typical Chiefs game. I mean... LMAO

This is sad man. I'm laughing while I'm crying.

TribalElder 12-17-2023 08:46 PM

Two missed field goals and a rusty hanger of an abortion of time management to end the half

don't do us any favors duvaal

smithandrew051 12-17-2023 08:46 PM

I kinda like running an actual play, but the throw HAS to be into the endzone. Can’t go horizontal.

KCBaron 12-17-2023 08:46 PM

Spike the ball you get at least two shots at a TD……bone headed decision!

TheGuardian 12-17-2023 08:46 PM

And watching this game, the Jags are out playing the Ravens but Trevor alone keeps fisting the whole team all by himself.

comochiefsfan 12-17-2023 08:46 PM

The AFC is so wide open and mediocre this year.

It would be really frustrating if we can’t get to the Super Bowl.

If we just had one more dude that could catch the ****ing ball…

mr. tegu 12-17-2023 08:46 PM

Also that is some of the good fortune the Ravens have been getting lately.

Yes, he's being asked to do far less than he was then. What I'm not sure of is how that makes him a better passer.

Spott 12-17-2023 08:47 PM

What an idiot. Spike the ball with 10 second left and get 1-2 shots at the end zone.

jerryaldini 12-17-2023 08:47 PM

Chiefs 2 seed. Bills win out. We would host them in the divisional.

stevegroganfan 12-17-2023 08:48 PM

Spike the ball and then you have 1-2 shots to the end zone before a FG as long as you don't take a sack.

Like it or not, Tom Brady is right when he says there is a lot of mediocre football. Less practice time at both college level and NFL level has caught up.

It doesn't help that Trevor Lawrence is very good at football but not really in love with it. 2 boneheaded mistakes this half cost his team 6-14 points this half.

You just described Alex Smith's 2013-2016 teams (especially with Jamaal in the backfield).

But, the end of those stories always required him to win with his arm, and we saw how that turned out.

His inability to not shit the bed shows he can’t think on his feet and he should have spiked it, but if you throw it there I can’t understand why he would ever throw the ball anywhere but the end zone?

The good news is that the Ravens really haven’t dominated this game. They’ve just been less bad/stupid than the Jags.

Jags get a stop to start the second half and they can be right in this.

I just doubt the Jags ability to not be completely stupid.

Extra frustrating because we all know if we don’t make it that the reason will be we imploded in some way and just couldn’t get out of our own way and gave away a game.

No, he's being asked to do more in the pocket but less overall in playing hero ball. It's more sustainable when it comes to December/January football.

You're good. You can go to bed or get some reading in. This one is all but over. Ravens will probably wear down the Jags D and eventually score another 10 or so and maybe you miss a Jags garbage TD but the competitive phase of this game has ended.

If the Bills win out they are probably a toss up to win their division as it includes sweeping the Dolphins.

Let's see how sustainable it is when he has to make a 3rd down pass from the pocket in January against a good defense.

I don't even think it is a toss up at that point. Dolphins are probably losing to this Ravens team next week and that's all it would take.

Us facing the Dolphins in R1 is a distinct possibility.

Dude, I don't love Lamar. I'm not an apologist. But he's playing much, much better this season in a more traditional QB style. It's pretty factual.

I think we actually match up well with the Ravens and I'd probably rather face them than the Bills.

Not so sure about that. The best team they’ve played all season is Detroit.
