Not only is Rice making stupid decisions, he needs better friends. Like friends that would say “Rahee, relax man. Let me go have a word with the photographer and get this straightened out.”

What is the point of being a multimillionaire in your early twenties if you don’t have some fellas that can take out the trash for you?

If he’s dumb enough to commit an assault at a nightclub after the street racing debacle, just ****ing cut the dumbass.

He’s obviously too stupid to keep his head on straight to play pro football.

If he wasn’t gonna be on the Commish’s Exempt List, he likely will be now.

Thanks for the one half a season and playoffs Rashee. Been nice knowin ya.

Considering your chances of playing in the NFL are .023%, I can't figure for the life of me why these kids waste the almost impossible opportunity. All you have to do is eat healthy and don't be ******* stupid in your free time, and you're almost guaranteed to be a millionaire. Rice has true potential to get a second contract, yet he continues to make bed decisions that are costing him guaranteed cash.

And it can't just come from the NFL. I would bet the chiefs will mean business and rashee will have to earn his way back onto the team. Even if that means suspending him beyond what the NFL is willing to. They won't cut him but they can cut him off to where he knows he has a skinny piece of thread he's still holding onto.

Don't sell Rice short. Eventually an entire forum could be devoted to the topic. Who can secure RasheePlanet.com domain rights first? For now, should we just make a Badlandz subforum here on CP?

Fishels 05-07-2024 10:11 PM

Normally I wouldn’t really care about shit like this, but the reason this case has me so annoyed is because this is the threepeat year. The one good WR we drafted and it feels like he’s trying to sabotage a third SB win.

come on man what was Clark supposed to do? Hunt lied to Clark and Reid to their faces about a national story that’s embracing the Chiefs. They asked him to tell them the truth. You can’t blatantly lie to your boss and the boss finds out, you are gone. That’s the way it will always work.

GeorgeZimZam 05-07-2024 10:34 PM

My recollection was Kareem prepared to kick the dumb broad, but resisted the urge at the last second. Apparently he gave her a love tap with his toe upon re-watch. At any rate, she was in total escalation mode and really tested him. What a skank.

Suspend him as long as you like; DO NOT give up an asset for absolutely nothing. Again, I don't think Clark will ever be THAT stupid again. If nothing else, it was likely a learning opportunity for him, even though literally everyone else knew precisely how stupid it was at the time.

**** that guy. Clark gave him a second chance and he goes and he continues to drink and get into fights. Even a year later with the browns when he claimed he was going to counseling. I have too much respect for reid and Clark to accept a guy who so badly disrespected them. I respect Clark for not letting players make a joke of his authority .

That is why the more harmless incident bothers me way more. He might as well have just slapped Andy and Clark in the face.

I don't think the chiefs will give him up. The bigger lesson about Kareem wasn't that the chiefs regret cutting him. It's buying his bullshit and lies that he was trying to better himself. Reid learned a better lesson with desean Jackson about what happens when you lose control of a guy who doesn't respect anyone's authority.

If rice was involved with something stupid, it would not bother me if the chiefs either suspended him or benched him indefinitely. Even if he was there at all the chiefs need to take disciplinary action. And not some silly little fine. He's not gonna learn shit until he loses his entitlement.

ChiefsFanatic 05-08-2024 02:11 AM

Who is Rice's agent? I have seen a lot of episodes of Entourage, and while Rice is obviously an athlete and not an actor, Ari Gold would have hired a damn babysitter or something, maybe a security team, to keep his client from costing himself even more money after the crash.

But, seriously, who is his agent? Because it seems like he doesn't have anyone looking out for him. Regular, every day type young kids make bad decisions, so I can't even imagine how having almost unlimited funds would compound those bad decisions. I feel like an agent, or agency, should be trying to help guide him.

Maybe they tried, and he ignored their advice. I don't know, but I hope for his sake, and the sake of the team, that he starts to mature and learn from these situations.

Is "absolutely nothing" causing an accident involving injuries for drag racing on a public highway then being caught on camera leaving the scene o the accident and drugs found in the vehicle and being charged with 8 felonies then a few weeks later getting in trouble a night club at 2am "absolutely nothing"?

Yep, no glaring character issues here what so ever. Just "absolutely nothing". Maybe that's what he'll tell the judge when asked about his repeated "absolutely nothing" patterns of behavior.

These are actions of a true stable character of the organization as well as the actions of the father of 2 young children.

There are not warning signs of the future and mean "absolutely nothing". End of story.

I'm nowhere near 9. I'll just wait for all the facts. The kid is young. Still plenty of time to assess the situation and reach him.

He never "went off" on Pat. That's bs. He merely questioned his decision to throw to Travis when he was wide open. Had we lost that game that moment would have been talked about a lot more. Also Pat was the one following him and shouting. But hey this is a thread for the Rashee haters to bark so obviously what Rashee did was way worse than Travis pushing his head coach on that very same sideline of course.

Hog Rider 05-08-2024 08:14 AM

RealSNR 05-08-2024 08:15 AM

I hope people learned their lesson from last year, which is it's only a matter of time before this Chiefs team works through its struggles, and when that happens, they come out on the other end as a focused, determined, and battle-hardened united team with experience AND something to prove. I know I won't get my wish, and the dumbasses will be out in full force when a couple losses creep in and the offense maybe looks flat for a stretch. But that's why those guys are sitting on their computers and not playing for the Kansas City Chiefs, a very very good football team.

In terms of violating trust, which seems more likely? That the chiefs had no idea what was on a security tape that the hotel and police no doubt shared with the team and the NFL? Or was it worse to claim he was getting help and taking things seriously, only to get into a fight at a drunk party spot a few months later. The TMZ tape may have been the final straw and a convenient excuse for the chiefs. But the chiefs already suspended Kareem hunt indefinitely and that probably would've been enough. They vouched for tyreek for being serious about improving himself. So nah, I don't buy it. Kareem's lie was an excuse to get rid of a guy who had already violated their trust months ago

KC won a Super Bowl after losing Tyreek and replacing him with humanoid feces, and they can do so again if they lose a WR that isn't qualified to hold Hill's jock.

Sure, but I'd rather not have to

Of course it would likely be easier to win with Rice on the field, but the remaining WRs are still better than the garbage WR corps KC fielded last year. Threepeat incoming.

Chiefs need to hire whatever employee at TCU is keeping the players inline or has the ability to sweep such incidents under the rug and out of the media spotlight.
