Buehler445 03-22-2025 08:24 AM

That's not all that impressive. Especially out of pads.

Red Dawg 03-22-2025 08:25 AM

This is a great mystery. Maybe there are files that will someday be released.

New World Order 03-22-2025 08:28 AM

Nice.

I predict he will double his yardage from 0 to 0.

Rainbarrel 03-22-2025 08:30 AM

Don't need someone to put down to feel better. Good luck

That's a Chief

He’s cheap. I’m predicting a career year for him this season.

FYI if we took him to the vet to be put down he would not be a Chief anymore. Alternatively we could take him to meet Billay at the George Brett and the result would be the same.

His best season so far was 22 catches for 250 yards.

So I’ll go out on a limb and predict 33 catches for 335 yards and 2 TDs this year. He knows the offense.

I think we all would love him to take some weird, random step up this year. But nothing in his history says he’s going to do that.

My three favorite Skyy Moore memories, in order -

3) Skyy making a 50 yard catch against the Jaguars as Mahomes scrambled to seal the game

2) Skyy catching a TD in the Super Bowl on a busted play

1) Skyy clowning on Elway as he walked the Lombardi trophy up to the podium to present it to Clark, Andy, and Mahomes after they beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl

RealSNR 03-22-2025 09:37 AM

Good lord.

People are STILL jerking themselves off over this foot-fire nonsense he does?

The fact that he's still doing it tells you all you need to know.

The guy ****ing sucks. Hes always sucked and it's hilarious to me that people still watch him do the same crap he was doing 3 years ago and swoon over it.

Then again, Dov Kleiman is really really stupid.

Plus, he looks materially slower than his college tape, when he was in pads.

cabletech94 03-22-2025 11:15 AM

May have to have him depending on health/availability of Rice. Now with that said, I’d love to see him take the bull by the horns here. Maybe the draft will change my mind. I don’t wish any ill towards him, but this is most likely his last ride with us.

Chargem 03-22-2025 11:16 AM

Does he somehow survive onto the 53 if they carry 7 WR?

And got a mere 5th round pick in return.

1. Recent history teaches that grouping early-round receivers and settling on the remainder in exchange for a day three pick is a bad idea. The Bills learned this last year by taking Coleman instead of the best receiver available in order to improve a later pick from the fourth round to the third. Mixed results, at best. It's simply not a good place to cut corners.

2. Skyy somehow turning into a capable fourth receiver and an upgrade on Watson would be one of the most surprising turnarounds and an unexpected boon to the group. I'm not counting on it, but it least gives me some hope should we not get a receiver in the draft.

chiefzilla1501 03-22-2025 11:39 AM

I’m glad to see his working out. Maybe the brain sit-ups he does in the gym will help him figure out where to sit on a route.

chiefzilla1501 03-22-2025 11:40 AM

Maybe not. But this is his fourth consecutive (and last) year in the same system. He should know where to go by now. That's my optimist view, anyway. If he's an upgrade on Watson at a rookie pay scale for a year it will be a win. They will likely be drafting his roster replacement next month anyway (with an upside the team is drafting Hollywood's replacement next month).

Under no circumstances will we 'have' to have him.

Remigio does everything on a football field better than him. Any other worthless swinging dick on the practice squad is better than him. He doesn't 'know the offense' because every time he was on the field he was ****ing lost.

There is no reason at all for him to be on this team next year. If the team plane crashes and he's the only surviving WR they should STILL cut his ass and sign 6 street free agents.

He isn't an NFL player. He's never been an NFL player and he never will be.

JohnnyHammersticks 03-22-2025 12:38 PM

Average athletically, below average hands, way below average mentally.

Other than that, he's great!! :thumb:

When he came out he had zero + NFL traits.

Not a great route runner

Small

Not fast

When I watched his college tape I didn't like it but my only thought was if he is going to do anything in the NFL he has to win in the first 5 yards.

And it turned out he couldn't do that either...

FloridaMan88 03-22-2025 12:45 PM

Skyy Less working on his footwork when he has the worst hands in the history of NFL pass catchers.

RealSNR 03-22-2025 01:23 PM

His hands are fine. He just couldn’t find the ****ing ball if you drew him a goddamn map.

RINGLEADER 03-22-2025 01:33 PM

It would be great if he’s able to do something. But it’s been apparent almost from the first moment he took the field, that he’s tentative, slow, and unsure of himself. He doesn’t play scared, he plays absolutely terrified.

That said he had a great sideline catch in his first pre-season game, a good punt return against the Bengals in the championship game, and managed to not drop the go ahead TD in the Super Bowl. He’ll always have those plays.

PatMahomesIsGod 03-22-2025 01:55 PM

It’s no “Jon Baldwin running at night” video.

JPH83 03-22-2025 02:54 PM

The thing I really dislike about this sort of training vid, it just all looks horribly one paced. He's going to do about 3 or 4 of these "fast as I can" steps and then go. No change of pace, no variety in footwork, no real use of the head and shoulders to fake.

I was happy with the pick at the time. I honestly didn't think a player could unlearn things, but he genuinely looks worse than he did in college. A horrible pick it turns out, and a player that has regressed from a pretty low bar.

Wish him the best, I'd love him to turn into something, but man he looks horrible.

I thought he had a decent 10y burst which he does...but it's purely linear. The lateral agility just isn't there. That's what I completely underestimated, or I guess overestimated. I also thought his YAC looked good. Nope. Partly because it turns out not even Andy Reid could manufacture touches for him. Quite literally impossible to get him the ball.

Sad really. I was really pulling for him

There were not a lot of great WR's that draft in the 2nd and beyond.

There were fans of Pickens but we traded down. I think Veach wanted Thornton who the Patriots took and looks like a Mecole style WR.

I wanted Khalil Shakir from Boise State. He just played like a dog when the ball was in the air.

htismaqe 03-22-2025 03:05 PM

The guy has 1 year left. They were never going to cut him before his rookie deal expires.

He doesn't look worse - he's just playing real competition.

He hasn't regressed - he was just a bad pick propped up by using shit technique to dust grocery baggers.

Take the right lessons from the exercise. He was a bad prospect from the jump.

I remember you were one of the ones who advocated cutting him early and so was I.

What I don't get is why the Chiefs keep him around when he should have been cut years ago.

George Pickens and Alec Pierce were the ones I remember most being there before Veach moved back to draft Moore.

Even Moore's highlights were trash...I remember being more impressed with the QB's arm talent than anything Moore did . Pickens highlights popped off the screen . I thought he was a no-brainer selection at the time.

Yes. Strange he didn’t select Pickens since Veach typically values measurables.

I always get annoyed when someone puts the two in the same category.

The Chiefs found a way to squeeze production out of CEH. The injuries proved to be too much, which happens sometimes. He was a competent NFL running back at times though.

The Chiefs couldn’t even fake it with Skyy though. Breeland Speaks is a much closer Skyy comp.

I think it would’ve been an obvious redshirt situation.

Worst case, he slides in at RT when Wylie leaves and the Chiefs never have to spend big on Taylor.

For anyone who complains about us dogging on Skyy Moore...

THIS IS WHAT WE DO IN THE OFFSEASON.

Then in a few months the 53 gets announced and we get our dicks twisted that this one shit player gets preferential treatment over some other JAG who will almost certainly amount to nothing.
