It would be great if he’s able to do something. But it’s been apparent almost from the first moment he took the field, that he’s tentative, slow, and unsure of himself. He doesn’t play scared, he plays absolutely terrified.
That said he had a great sideline catch in his first pre-season game, a good punt return against the Bengals in the championship game, and managed to not drop the go ahead TD in the Super Bowl. He’ll always have those plays. |

The thing I really dislike about this sort of training vid, it just all looks horribly one paced. He's going to do about 3 or 4 of these "fast as I can" steps and then go. No change of pace, no variety in footwork, no real use of the head and shoulders to fake.
I was happy with the pick at the time. I honestly didn't think a player could unlearn things, but he genuinely looks worse than he did in college. A horrible pick it turns out, and a player that has regressed from a pretty low bar. Wish him the best, I'd love him to turn into something, but man he looks horrible. |
