It worked out amazingly though, we won the SB last year, then got Hopkins way cheaper for most of this season. |
It’s not like we’re walloping teams in playoffs.
We’re winning in same fashion. Come backs and close victories. It’s more like we adjust our level of play relative to the team we face than it is we use regular season as practice. |

Genuine question: Did he suit up today? I did not notice him once during our offensive snaps.
|
He was definitely out there.

This is apparently the first time he’s made it past the Divisional Round lol
I’m sure he wishes he contributed more but it’s probably nice to still be in play for a Super Bowl ring. |
I think Worthy was the only WR to have a catch today

Unless he’s fast enough to run a jet sweep he’s not getting many targets with a guard playing tackle and a future shoe salesman playing guard
|
I'm a D Hop guy. Love him. But I didn't notice him so thought I'd ask the question before the snap counts comes out tomorrow
|
I predict he goes off next week!!!!

Texans CBs are excellent.. There was a third down in the first half where Pat was talking to DHop in the huddle and I knew the play was coming to him.. DHop was blanketed and Patrick took a sack..

However, Caliendo is a free agent this offseason, and there's a reasonable chance some team is stupid enough to give him enough money to get us a 7th round comp pick. That'll do, pig. That'll do. |

We can probably put to rest the jizzing over [insert literally any WR name] midseason pickup with Pat’s trust issues Fortunately his connection with Kelce is still intact |
Brown/hopkins/gray were no shoes and we still won not bad

Disappointed to not see him more involved today but as long as we’re winning…
Maybe it was a matchup thing. Either way it won’t surprise me to see him flash more in the games ahead. At least the reason for his dip in production is largely because our rookie has taken flight. |
16 snaps

Justin Watson needs more snaps
|
I get the sense that they didn’t think this game could go sideways, and they were mostly right, but 16 snaps is not enough.
|
JuJu had more snaps than Hop. Didn't see that one happening.
|
Why is juju getting more snaps? Different role? I can't imagine they trust him more. Id be interested in the red zone passing snaps for him.
|
Also lol Joshua Williams plays well in a starting role and then gets turned back into special teams meat
Let the coaches do their job, but damn, they REEEEALLY don't like that guy |

16 snaps for Hopkins is baffling. Hollywood got a decent amount but expect more next week. Juju shouldn't have more snaps. Make it make sense

We thought they were saving this guy for something and trying to keep the compensation low, but it turns out he just isn’t that good anymore and/or Andy just has little use for him. Can’t say I’m surprised, it’s always what happens when we bring these veteran dudes in during the season.
Hope we have enough next week. |

Looking forward to DHop & Brown having a huge AFCCG. Another milestone on the way to winning this year's Super Bowl.

Hmmm.. There may be a reason Kelce had a big day.. Maybe the Texans with their elite corners decided to take away our WRs?? Hmmmm.. Bad move on their part..
|
His body language seems awfully telling. He might just be used up, who knows.
I'd sure like to see him make at least one big highlight reel catch deep in the end zone or on the sideline where you know only a guy like him was capable of bringing it in while keeping his toes off the line. |
He signed a two year 26 million dollar deal with the Titians. His Chiefs' cap hit is 1/10th that. Maybe it fair play for pay

Hopkins isn't washed up. Wtf are some of you talking about?
|
.
|
??? He's had 41 just for the Chiefs.
|
Yeah he's not washed up guys! His production has only sharply declined and he's on the wrong side of 30. CP talent evaluations LMAO

Oh caught ya before you could edit it. You stupid ****ing bitch. Dumb little meth head. He had 56 catches for 610 yards and 5 YDs. He had 15 catches for the Titans, dumb ****. |

Not washed. Hollywood didn’t do anything either. Is he washed? Texans defense dictated what we could do. We just decided to take what was there with our oline situation and not press things, Texans defense been feasting on turnovers lately and that’s what we were avoiding.
|
I think people are underappreciating the Texans DB's as to how good they really are, which effectively neutralized the receivers.
Their weakness was the middle of the field, and Travis being Travis exploited that. Not too concerned about the WR's being little to non-existent. Or maybe another consideration should be taken is that they respect Hop and/or Hollywood too much, that allowed Travis to have the one-on-one matchups? Either way, it's pick your poison. |

But Kelce was open, that probably factored into that. |
Short field
|
It’s very clear they want the speed of Worthy and Brown out there as much as possible.
But it’s odd that Hopkins played less than JuJu. Hope he’s ok. |
It is odd that he didn't play much at all.
I doubt he's coming back next year tbh, maybe we can bring in Brown on the same deal he had this year or something. |

It was a great game plan, and it was conditional on having an elite pass-catching tight end, which Kelce is. |

The only thing I can think is that Hopkin's knee is hurting him.
|
Quote:
There is no reason to believe he is injured. And it is a disservice for the media to keep citing his grade 2 MCL tear from October. A grade 2 MCL tear is a 4 to 6 week injury and does not usually need surgery. Its possible he injured something else but his MCL probably healed long ago. |
DHop ran an out route and it just looked slowwwwww
He's either hurt or cooked. |

Perine.... 11 plays/22% Would like to see him with more playing time in the offense this week.

eh, watch the A-22. There's nothing really wrong with DHop as far as I can tell. Pat just never really looked in his direction, except twice. In Pat's defense, they doubled DHop pretty much every snap he was out there. |
