What was that the Lakers were talking about after game # 1 ?
Old, Slow, can't play ball anymore ? Loose lips sinks ship..... as in Championships. The Lakers may still win, but they better just hush and play ball cause one game does not make a series as the Celtics just proved that. Go Celtics ! Beat the Hollywood Fake show. |
No excuses, offense was stagnant, defense was lazy and the staff got outcoached all around. I think maybe after the way LA pushed Boston around in Game 1, they just took their eye of the prize. Allen aint gonna make 8 3s every game.
I said LA in 7, I didnt expect the Lakers to sweep at home so that means they got to win at least one on the road, probably game 4 or 5. BTW, Rumors swirling that Bosh was in town wooing the Lakers. |

Like I said before, I see LA & Boston both getting a win on the road, for Boston, they have to win game game 6 or it's almost a for gone conclusion that La will be next to impossible to beat in game 7.
Boston better close it out at home or they are likely toast. |

I'm not trying to sound like a rosy-glasses homer. Yeah, I like the Celtics, but I really don't give much of a shit if they win or not. But they clearly have one of the deepest, most talented rosters seen in quite a while, and if they play up to their potential they're unbeatable. If they DON'T play up to their potential, then you get Game 1. The Celtics might win or lose this series, but I don't think the Lakers are all that and I don't think the Celtics shake in their sneakers thinking about them. |
