Some Dolphin fan responses to losing Smith:

So they basically stalled a bit to quiet the Vontae tampering leak Tweet. They were on him all along.

Bye bye. I hope we play you soon.

Thx goodness. My biggest concern was he was going to come back here!

Greatest news all free agency!

Decent cover guy, but can't hit and can't make plays down the field. he's not worth it after all the time he's had here. he is what he is.

Good riddance!
Quote:

can't catch, can't make a big play, can't cover 50% of the time, can't keep his mind off of Twitter....and can't tackle for crap. Good riddance

GOOD FOR HIM..BAD FOR THE CHIEFS FANS..I BET HIM AND HIS COACH AL HARRIS GET CUT NEXT OFFSEAson.

SO happy with this! I really, really didnt rate Smith. McCann has already been way better than him in his short time here.

Adios dip****.

Thank god. Worst awareness I've ever seen. Its too bad b/c he has the right size and attitude. I remember his 1 handed INT his first preseason. Thought he was gonna be a star. Oh well. Bring on Xavier Rhodes.

Good luck sean. Thanks for.................? I ain't got nothing.

Most hated Dolphin since Ted Ginn. Good riddance.
I said this earlier when we were first interested in him, but he's just not a good player and is probably the worst signing of free agency so far. He's big, but he's soft, not fast, has bad hips, and can't tackle.

If you wan't him to guard a slant he can do that just fine, but anything that causes him to turn his hips and he's ****ed.

He was actually a WR in college.

Some DBs actually get 4, 5, even 6 INTs in a year.

That's what Sean Smith has for his CAREER.

Do you think I give a shit about one play, much less one from COLLEGE?

Sean Smith has TERRIBLE hands, even for a CB. He has dropped a TON of interceptions.

Hes only 25, he will get better. So negative all the time.

There are a lot of questions about Brown, the first being his size (or lack thereof), production other than this past season and injury history. (He's been nursing that shoulder for a long time now.)

He's a 43 ILB or Weakside LB. I don't see him playing inside in a 34 as a Mike.

Many people not like Go to Hell's negativity, but he's right about this. He's made 2 good catches that pop out to you, one in college and one in pre-season in his rookie season. But the rest are just average INTs that any of us could've caught, and the rest were dropped.

He might have more INTs if he wasn't actually being burned by the WR the whole time.

Same exact things Dolphins said after his first 2 years.

He's played in 3 different defenses and sucked in all of them. I don't think it has anything to do with the scheme.

He was 242 at their proday. He was good last year, was he not?
