The majority of Alex wins are when he (or even the defense!) puts the team up by 3-7 points in the 3rd quarter, and then continues to stall on offense for the rest of the ****ing game. Maybe the defense or ST will come up with another score occasionally, but if you want to help out the defense by securing that lead and not leaving that unit out to dry? Alex can't help you and won't help you.

If not for Miracles by Eric Berry and Marcus Peters this team goes 9-7 last year.

What do you guys expect? Most of our talent is on D so of course we are going to win most games because of the defense. The only real Pro Bowl player we have on offense is Kelce. Maclin was terrible last yr.

You guys should use common sense more. It might help out more than you think.

That those miracles aren't likely to occur every year.

As happened in 2014.

And in the playoffs.

Then you could pull the same logic of Smith pulling together a critical-to-the-win drive here and there too.

SD week 1...
key scores vs NO in the second half to hold a lead...
key drive late in the 4th to tie up (and win eventually) against CAR...
FG winning drive vs DEN in OT week 12...
playing keep-away from ATL in the final minutes, so they could hold possession and win...

some other games mixed in, where KC won more easily, so no need to point fingers...

See how this works? All aspects... as a team... have their part in wins... and losses... as a team. In case you missed it... football teams... play as.. a team.

It truly would have taken a miracle for KC to win a SB in the 2013-2015 years. No matter who the QB was, sans maaaaybe Brady or Rodgers.

If not for Maclin, Charles and Houston playing below expectations (40 million dollars worth of cap hit), this team wins the Superbowl?

See what I did there?

Poor Tiger.

He's as defensive as he's ever been in his time here. The Chiefs traded up to draft a great prospect to replace his Alex and Alex himself said he thinks he'll be here only 1 more season.

It's okay, Tiger. We'll recommend a good message board for you to spew your Alex love When he's inevitably on his new team next Spring.

First stage of grief...denial.

Soon the anger will come when Alex starts shitting himself in September.

He said they're only committed to him for one season. Didn't say he was gone after this season. Said it like a true professional, you know, nothing like you two scumbags are capable of doing in your entire lives. I feel sorry for you losers.

Oh you mean just like you said when Derek Carr would blow us out of the water? How'd that and all your other predictions work out for you, kid?

You realize what a prediction is right? Its not a declaration of what is 100% going to happen.

There is a huge difference between Clay and others making predictions that turn out to be completely wrong, and you analyzing something that has already happened and making false claims about said thing.

First, have to ask the question. Based on pre-draft opinions of Mahomes.. do you think there are quite a few draftniks, talking heads, etc. that thought of Mahomes as a multiple year project?

.. and if so, were they all delusional Smith lovers? or did they just genuinely think that as a pro QB, Mahomes needed A LOT of refinement?

Again, I think Mahomes starts in 2018... but people that act like this 2 yr development theory is wildly crazed Smith-love? Those people are probably basing their thinking through the lens of their Smith hate.

How many of those pre-draft opinions are viewing Mahomes through the narrow lens of, "How close is he to Andrew Luck?" Or how many of them take one look at, "Threw a lot of risky stuff? Texas Tech? Oof... he's as raw as they come!" And how many of those opinions were calling Mahomes a multi-year project, but Deshaun Watson, a QB who is WAY more raw than Mahomes, gets a much lighter pass in terms of the "raw" label?

There's a ton of stupid shit out there written about Mahomes. Some of it's informed, some of it isn't. Yes, Andy Reid and Jon Gruden both said, "He's raw, he's not ready." Nobody is questioning that.

But Tiger hasn't been going, "We'll see." And he hasn't been saying, "I predict Mahomes will need more than a year based on...." He's been flat out saying "Two years. 2019. Possibly longer. Extend Alex. We'll need him." For him there is NO possibility that Mahomes could be good enough to start in 2018. That's just short-sighted. And if it's not biased, I don't know what is.

You don't see the inverse from the other side. You see, "As soon as he's ready, Mahomes needs to start, however long that takes."
