There were a bunch of people at the scene who saw the guys get out of the Corvette. So I guess the cops would need descriptions from witnesses about the person who appeared to be the driver.

If he were to get off lightly for fleeing the scene it sends a terrible message to the public about what to do in a drunk driving accident. Cases I've seen it's punished more heavily than DUI, as it needs to be for deterrence.

If there were no serious injuries as I've seen multiple times, why is this being called a "major" accident? Are there some criteria I've never heard of that define a difference between major and minor accidents? It seems like calling it a major accident at this point is serious exaggeration.

We’ll see. The other teams will be pushing for a pretty steep punishment. I don’t think the league office will want to look too friendly to Rice or the Chiefs after the Henry Ruggs & Jalen Carter incidents.

TBF, I'd personally rather read the TiC making-up-stuff than all the internet crime scene/NFL policy experts who come out of the woodwork to fill in the blanks by making up shit.
