He senses the pressure and rolls out to the sideline, picks up a yard.

2/8 38 yards, and a 4.8 average.

You prolly should worry more about THAT, than Alex Smith......

BigBeauford 09-22-2013 03:35 PM

Truefans are okay with the bile 49ers fans spew, but talk about Geno in a geno thread and that's not okay.

Hammock Parties 09-22-2013 03:35 PM

The Jets have 14 rushes for 33 yards.

Geno ****ing Smith, all day.

Hammock Parties 09-22-2013 03:37 PM

OOooohhh. Just missed the TD on the flea flicker.

Missing the point.

WHO GIVES A **** ABOUT GENO SMITH? He's not a Chief. Why should we care?

Stupid, adolescent nonsense.

It's as stupid as 9er fans coming here to slobber over Alex, or to bash him.

It's all childish trolling.

It's vital if you care at all about evaluating our front office.

Every other team could have drafted him too.

It's not vital to anyone except you who so desperately wants to hit on at least one of your hard-on evaluations for once in your life.

The Chiefs front office should be judged by wins and loses.

While this is true, we are 3-0 and looking pretty darn good in doing so. The Cowboys win has to look a little better today than most people wanted to allow it to be all week long.

We have a developmental QB on the roster, and will have opportunities in the future to upgrade with a younger franchise QB.

It may be time to give the Geno thing a rest, and see what happens with our team... both now and in the future.

You can also credit Lavonte David, the kicker, the defense that's playing great football.

He's had a few nice drives though. It's more than I expected.

Over the next 12 to 15 years, it is most likely that the Jets and Chiefs will have a difference of 1 championship at the greatest. It remains to be seen which team is in the lead... if there is even a difference.

We are 3-0. Enjoy the ride no matter where it ends up. Usually the destination isn't all that it is cracked up to be, but the journey to get to said destination is what you remember.

Well, that certainly didn't take long for you to flip flop.

Here's what you should take from this game:

Geno Smith < EJ Manuel.

He was absolutely a first-round pick.

You think you really saw tom brady at his best? And the truth is, tom picked them apart. His receivers couldn't catch a cold that day if you had infected them with influenza.

hes playing well, but I mean, its a little harsh for you to be killing ALEX SMITH. You can kill fisher though. hes been trash.

I'll be the first to admit that he's been great for a rookie, but that doesnt change the fact that he isnt here, and as it turns out we arent doing too bad ourselves.

Why some of you guys want to pound your heads into a wall over something you cant change is beyond me, and for that matter none of you have any idea how it all pans out for him in NY or even how it would've panned out with him here.

We've got a proven winner who gives us a legit chance to make plenty of noise in the playoffs and a damned exciting looking developmental prospect right behind him... if you want to "judge the front office", try using THAT.

It would be nice to have him as a developmental player. He is doing much better than I thought. That throw to hill, was nasty.

He is the guy I wanted in that 2012 draft class.

Instead, the 49ers took aj Jenkins. lol

Disagree. First, because Brays mobility isn't terrible. I don't think that its fair to state that. In that jets pats game, what stood out was his lack of awareness to where pass rushers were.

Gotta work on that. he has a great skill set though.

Pablo 09-22-2013 04:14 PM

Yeah, we got our very own Geno Smith in Tyler Bray.

Only difference is one has already won an NFL game and the other will more than likely never take a NFL snap.

And the hell of it is that it wasn't even his evaluation. As is the case with most things Clay, he simply regurgitates the views of others, passes them off as his own and then shouts them more loudly than his predecessors did.

I dont think Dorsey and Reid brought him in just to take up space.

He has the kind of raw skills that surely make a QB friendly coach drip all over the ground like a bull elephant in must.

They apparently didn't think enough of the kid to spend a draft pick on him; so pardon me if I question their intent here.

He slipped through the cracks due to legit character concerns and they saw a no risk chance at digging up a diamond in the rough... so they didnt spend a pick, that doesnt bother me.

After hearing what Berry and Flowers had to say about him, i like the chances of seeing him play in 2-3 years.
