Yeah, he had a good game plan except for not helping on Ellis. I mean WTF? Was he scared of Lucas?

Covering outside in was smart. Letting Ellis eat their souls and not making an adjustment is dumb.

Hopefully they bring the pain Saturday. I'm not sure who the short turnaround favors...Probably the 3pt shooting team.

KCC pointed out that they shoot a shit ass ton of 3s. Hopefully they used them all up today.

He allows his team to be too undisciplined. Horrible shot selection and bad defensive positioningat times

This is a pickem game. It sucks bcuz every other one seed has a much easier draw. Hopefully we flip well. QQ vs AK.

I'd rather have KU have the tough games maybe that's what they need to win the final four.

Miami is not very good on defense. KU is a ton better. So, Villanova will not be getting as many easy looks.

The last KU championship was a very tough road for KU. They did alright with that one.

Perry Ellis is and always has been a tremendous scorer. The inclusion (and evolution) of Lucas at C to do the dirty work for this team has helped him play the best basketball of his career over the last few months.

I don't remember him doubling Ellis even once. And it was evident early on that they had nobody with the lateral quicks to stop him in an isolation scenario. Very odd.

Never made any sense from the beginning for the committee to make Villanova a #2 seed in the overall #1's bracket. They were clearly a #1 quality and had the profile of at least a high #2.

At this point in the tournament, though, you can usually expect 50/50ish games (UNC getting teams like Wisconsin/Notre Dame this year being an exception).
