Yeah.
I'm almost done with this fast, though. Only an hour until it's been 24 hours. May stretch it to 28 or so and split a chicken with the wife when she gets home from work. |
I'll be glad when my car finally arrives. No more running 5 miles to the gym in the heat of the day just to do 300 pushups, an hour of yoga and then 5 miles back home after I'm exhausted.

it's funny, people (naturally 'run down') what they don't/or arent do(ing.)
It's just human nature. |
Did my usual routine and now eating oranges.
|
Good lifting session this morning. Now to rest until Saturday morning's game.
|
Fasted all day, then ate a rotisserie chicken and a few slices of cinnamon raisin toast for dessert. Done eating for today.
|
Chest and triceps tonight. I have not gotten to the point of not working out. But, I have needed to recommit mentally. I am hoping that I am getting there again.

I have been so absent from this thread for the last month or so. I'm working on getting settled in my new digs, and I am aching to get a long run in. The good news is, that in the last month of no exercise and dogshit eating, I've gained 2lbs. Fasting FTW!!!

2 days, and no replies. Slackers!
Rest day yesterday, soccer this morning. |
Yesterday's KB class.
5 minutes of turkish getups, alternating arms. 5 minutes of clean/press/reverse lunges alternating arms. 5 minutes of 50 yard farmer's walk, with 20 swings on one end and 20 spider lunges at the other end. 1 minute snatches each arm. cashed. |
Disappointing day. I went to the trainer this morning and I got through the first set of exercises and had to stop because I felt like I was going to throw up. I almost did (the vomit got to my esophagus). Hadn't worked out at all this last week, and I just have trouble working out early in the morning. I think I need to get up earlier and eat something a bit earlier than I had been.

That's exactly why I NEVER eat before a workout. If I've had anything within 3 hours, it's a no-go. It's easiest to just wait to have breakfast until after the workout.

Wow. 3.1 mile run this morning on the mean streets of Branson was rough. Combination of no exercise, humid weather, and new shoes being broken in made for a tough go. I did it though, and it felt great when I was done. Time to get back in the rhythm. 2 straight days of 24 hour fasts should help.
