Dude cut his salary to league minimum, if you don't want him back on the roster for that amount over some scab like Herring, you're just being a contrarian. He would absolutely be worth having as depth at $900k and there's really no debating that.

He wouldn't be replacing Herring. He would move BJ Thompson off this roster. I'd rather have Thompson.
