What's happening with Boston is no surprise. Good pitching beats good hitting EVERY time.

that is what is so frustrating...the Rockies have good pitchers...they are just young...Jiminez, Morales, Francis, Corpas...Fuentes has no excuse after last night the guy has gone from closer to set up man because he had problems getting the last 3 outs but he seems to be regressing even more....6-5 going into the 9th would have been a world of difference ....the biggest difference I think is that the extra time off cooled them down....I think that since the bats came alive last night we will see a good game tonight assuming Cook can pitch like the opening day starter....

Things that most of you don't know is that Ubaldo Jiminez and Franklin Morales are september callups...granted the Rocks might not be where they are today had Jason Hirsch, Rodrigo Lopez and Aaron Cook not got hurt and allowed Jiminez and Morales to shine....but to make it to the WS with 2 ROOKIE pitchers in your starting rotation is phenomenal

The Rockies' players deserve at least one World Series victory after the tear they went on.

I feel bad for them...not the fans....but the players.
