There are tiers to arm strength.

Having a weaker arm than Stafford doesn't mean you have an average arm. It means that you have a weaker arm than Stafford.

Sanchez's arm is above average, but not great.

so you would have taken Brady #1 overall?

Pretty much, Brady wasn't noticed because the guy who was playing QB with him was more more naturally gifted and thought to be a future #1 overall.

Henne had all the talent, started 4 years threw to guys like Edwards and Manningham but their team would always choke games away because he'd do something stupid.

That is a ****ing moronic question, befitting the one asking it.

He didn't do that today. I think the WC offense with an effective passing game as well screwed the defense all to hell.

That's fine... but that is why I didn't think he was worth a top five pick.

I am curious to see how he does over the course of his career..... I said that I thought he would be 'good', not great. We will see how it goes.

I can't believe the Jets didn't use any of their timeouts at the end of the game. Ryan said he didn't use them because he didn't think they were going to score a touchdown. So what? It's a chip-shot field goal to tie the game. The way that game was going, 25-30 seconds might have been all the Jets would have needed to get a shot at a long field goal. Maybe there's a different reason he didn't use the timeouts, but I'd love to hear them.

That's for sure. But he makes up for it with poor decision making oh boy look at those stats. 12-24 172 yards 1 TD. Dan Marino like!!!!!!!!

I wish stupidity was a banable offense.

If your arm is good enough to make all the throws, then it's good enough to be #1 overall, #3, #5...wherever.

He can make all the throws.

It has to be more than arm strength. Sanchez has more than that though.

****ing Jeff George was #1 overall because of arm strength and well, you know what happened.

Edit: I know you were saying just enough arm strength to make the throws you need to make.

I don't believe this post can possibly be in earnest.
