Congratulations on replying to a post that said the exact same thing.

Thanks, bro. Though, a little later in the thread, I think the Stephen McGee comparison really took it to the next level of hot takez.

Any time you can compare a guy who threw 28 TD passes in his career as a 3 year starter to a guy who has thrown 36 TDs in one year as a starter with 2 years of eligibility left, you've got to do it.

McGee was a 2-year starter.

He was their starter in 2006, 2007, and started in 2008 until he lost his job during the season.

While true, he lost his job after week 1. He did start 2 games later in the year

Lock completed 6 of 8 passes for 64 yards and a 14-yard touchdown throw to walk-on Oke Akushe against the 3s, a play in which Lock threaded the ball in there, Akushe made a nice grab in traffic, then paid for it on a targeting hit from Ronnell Perkins. But he held on.
I saw a post on r/cfb about this moment where Akushe caught that ball. The reporter said the whole offensive sideline went wild. I guess this guy is a very recent walk on and the team must like him.

Not important but a cool developing story, who knows.

Not sure if anyone else will find this interesting, but former Ohio State TE commit Josh Moore from Olathe, KS looks like he's going to play as true freshman on the DL this year. Not sure if that's a function of losing Loud and Brantley, or that he's just that good. Either way, it's surprising considering he hasn't been talked about much during fall practices. This is all from PowerMizzou.

Oh, the kid is a true talent, no doubt. There's a reason why tOSU wanted his ass in Columbus before they eventually said, no thanks. His issue has ALWAYS been that 6-inch football field that exists between his ears. If he can keep from getting in his own way, he can be an All SEC type talent.

I think he wanted to play TE at Ohio State. They didn't want him as a TE.

The biggest reason is that he was a long shot to qualify and Ohio State didn't like him enough to save a spot for him.

He's talented. I don't think he'd be playing if Harold Brantley was healthy, but the 2015 recruiting class has some special DL talent on it... Jacobs, Moore and Beckner have all been very good. That's three good DTs in the middle... And Nate Howard has looked great at DE in camp as well.

I was shocked that Moore was already up over 280.

It's not that hard to put on 30 pounds of weight over a spring summer, even focusing on putting on "good" weight.

At the risk of looking like a silly fanboy (sue me, I know the kid, lol) - how is Marquise Doherty looking? Heard he was getting reps with the first team offense...
