Dido. Brought me back to 1998. I got a lot of McGwire memorabilia from then.

Also McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, Clemens, etc need to be in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Baseball writers are the worst, bunch of ****ing pin head losers.

Pitt Gorilla 06-14-2020 09:21 PM

So, overall, how'd we do? Seems like a great opportunity to add talent.

Is it possible we got the best pitcher and SS in the draft? How about the rest of the guys?

They’ve added a nice set of talent AND have signed the top 3 players out of this pool. Couple of interesting catchers in there.

And yeah, it’s highly possible they got the best pitcher and SS in this draft, unless Austin Martin ends up playing SS or Casey Martin plays SS AND hits.

I read that the catcher they added from Arkansas Pine Bluff is seen as a plus defender with plus-plus power - he missed all of last season with Tommy John surgery but was off to a strong start to this season (5 HR in 17 games).

He’s the equivalent of a 5th round pick.
