Yeah..Payton is a goner for sure...Dude acted like he didnt even like being there alot of times....Not sure what that was all about?? Maloe wil probably return if Kobe and Phil Come back...but Phil said last night that he will probably not return. Kobe said he likes the Clippers because he wants to stay in LA but can you really see him going to the Clips?? Come on....

Nothing Kobe does would surprise me. I was so disgusted at the end of the game I just turned off the TV and went to bed. If Phil says he will probably leave what that means to me is he thinks Kobe is leaving. Phil just wants to stay around for one more title so he can tell Red to STFU.

I agree with Cody's take on Kobe. I just don't see him at Jordan's level just yet. Don't know if that'll ever happen. I was beginning to believe that he was the next MJ but, the last couple years have changed my views on that.

Congrats Coach Brown on a well coached championship season. Didn't think it was possible for Phil Jackson to be outcoached. Congrats to Chauncey Billups. If I'm not mistaken, he's the first BIG 12 player to win a NBA title.

I've never really been a Pistons fan but, I have always liked a couple of their players like Big Ben Wallace. And I was glad that the Lakers didn't win it again. :D No offense to you Lakers fans but, I'm sick of the Lakers. To me, they're the NBA's version of the Yankees.

BTW, I think it would be pretty interesting to go back to some comments over last summer about how the Lakers would do with the additions of Payton and Malone.

We certainly could have used a healthy Malone in this series.

I hate the comparison to the Yankmee's, Lakers are under the cap every year. They don't buy championships like the Yankmee's do.

I think people make the comparison because the Lakers and the Yankees are constantly good.

Yeah..he wanted that 10th title real bad......He said he was exhausted and it was time for him to leave...but who knows? Maybe after a few weeks off he will change his mind...

If Kobe isn't coming back I don't think Phil will unless they can really come up with some serious acquisitions.

It wouldn't have mattered.

Wow, you sound pissed that your team lost. I didn't make you feel that way did I?

I live with losers every year...I know how it sucks.

True..it is hard to feel bad for a guy with 9 NBA titles.....same as Kobe and Shaq..they both have 3.........It was nice to see the Pistons win...as it was the Spurs last year..

Yea I am not very happy today. I kept drinking last night hoping I would feel better. By the end of the game I just turned off the tube and passed out.

I am sorry for you that your team lost and yes I was talking shit. I'm not a Lakers fan even a little bit and I am a Larry Brown fan and I like most of the Pistons players, so I'm quite happy. It was nothing personal though just so ya know.

Hey, at least you guys had a great run...I wish one of my teams would just get the opportunity to lose in the championship.
