This was an excellent race. They were just throwing those beastly cars all over the track all race. Michigan sucks. Worst track there is

I made it to lap 56. Now I have a headache, oof / Steve Wallace
Steve Wallace Gets Hair Pulled After Montreal Crash <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/y8DmDY7Q8Ko?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/y8DmDY7Q8Ko?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object> Patrick Carpentier, who announced he would retire after the NAPA Auto Parts 200, saw his 27-year racing career come to a bitter ending after contact with Steve Wallace on lap 56 in one of the hairpins. “I guess Steve Wallace hasn’t learned how to brake, so he spun me at the hairpin,” Carpentier said. “After that, I just lost it, ran people over and they ran me over back. It’s one on those deals.” After the race, Carpentier’s crew chief, Jerry Baxter, took out his frustration with Wallace by reaching into Wallace’s car on pit road and pulling his hair. “We had a couple of challenging moments where me and Carpentier were racing really hard,” Wallace said. “I got underneath him, I tried to outbrake him. He crowded me. I got loose, and I spun him out. “Obviously Baxter was upset. I’d be upset, too … [but] only girls pull hair.” http://www.scenedaily.com/news/artic...l_victory.html |
He pulled his hair? Geez, even Kyle Busch laughed at that.
|
Dude reached into the car and took hold of a fistful of hair, like he was dealing with a snot-nosed kid. Well, he was. I just hope Stevie Wallace knows that his father is spending his inheritance to enable him to wreck race cars.

I LOVE Bristol...
Remember when Goodyear sent in the same tires as they used the year before, when the rubber on the tire was shredding and coming off? Goodyear had to swap all the tires for Nationwide & Cup races at the last minute. I think, NASCAR had to limit the tires each team recieved because Goodyear came up. What a mess... I think it was this year... lol |
Quote:
did they mess with with the width of the track or banking... |

Did the race start?
The local channels cut to a critical issue due to Hurricane Irene. I think they said, we might loose a high-rise in the Atlantic -- 30 foot waves are crashing on to land... Now, we have a tornado watch warning -- ... the city is flooded... http://www.myfoxny.com/ |
Yeah it started. Kyle Busch went over the fence on lap 3, rolled it 12x and was thrown from the vehicle. Thankfully, he landed on his head and was uninjured

Let me live stream the game. They're not showing the race -- they're going to torture us news of horrible destruction -- live photos of pounding rain, high winds, and the Atlantic Ocean sweeping through Manhattan |

I'm waiting for NASCAR to throw a caution for debris so all hell will break loose.. I found out why we'll have to wait until the last 20 laps for some excitement... Bristol changed the banking configuration and turned it into a snooze fest. |
