Well Geno is a lot more aggressive than I thought he'd be.
|
Geno makes some plays, but he also does all the things that lose you games. If he matures and can cut down on some of that stuff then he may be adequate someday...
|
Another fine throw draws a PI. Jets gonna score again.

I'm glad clay lost the weight, maybe someday he can lose the emotional baggage that came with it.

Perfect throw there.
Terrible DB play. |
Beautiful TD throw by the Chocolate One.

DB pulled a Bartee.

Geno Smith.
Geno mother****ing Smith. You are all witnesses. 329 yards, 3 TDs. http://i.imgur.com/gtCsBW2.gif |
Nice freaking throw .

Moar gifs clay!

One thing is for sure. The Jets done right in wanting this kid over Sanchez.

Geno now only 2 behind Alex Smith in number of 300-yard games in a career
Rips past Alex's career high of 310 yards ROFL |
Just goes to show you that even rookies can ball out with no weapons.

Three games into his NFL career, Geno is already a better downfield passer than Alice Smiff.
|
Well, the real question should be Geno vs. Fisher, which isn't even a contest at this point.

Threads are easy to ignore, friend. I suggest you do so if you don't want to discuss Mr. Smith.

OP updated.
Geno is already throwing for more yards and more YPA than Alex. TDs are the same. 2-1, very nice start to this nice young man's career. |

I am really enjoying Alex Smith as a QB in this system on this team. I think that he will continue to play better and better and elevate this offense, which should be really rolling by mid-season once the O-line gels.
That being said, that friggin' TD pass by Geno today in the fourth quarter to Santonio Holmes was a thing of beauty. |

Dude, seriously you have made your point, you hate AS.
Don't you think it might be time to move on and just embrace that your team is winning. |
Geno gets the Titans next week.
Could be a tough game. |

I have to disagree that Smith will be our QB for 5 years. I think that's too long unfortunately! It will probably only be 3-4 years, even if he does well.

I still think it will be interesting to see how Geno Smith progresses as an NFL QB. His early returns have been up and down, but he has definitely shown off the good attributes (arm, ball placement, downfield accuracy, ability to make tough throws into tight windows). If he continues to be open to coaching and improve his understanding of an NFL offense, the guy has the ability to be a star.
|
See, it's threads like this that make me laugh.
Why is it a crime to be a fan of football players that aren't on the Chiefs? What's wrong with wishing the Chiefs drafted those players? Geno looks legit. The team believes in him. Everyone on the team is playing better with Geno at quarterback over Sanchez. That's what good quarterbacks do. He is making flat out amazing throws deep down the field while under big pressure and getting hit on the plays. Alex Smith will never make the kinds of plays that Geno Smith did TODAY. |
I'm very impressed by Geno so far. LOL at the haters who wrote him off when he threw a couple picks in training camp.
Not a game - training camp. http://www.ngngsports.com/wp-content...en-iverson.jpg |
