not much of a runner, at least not fast enough to do it at the NFL level

a lot of his WR's are wide open though so there is the whole spread offense translates to the nfl issues.

nice fade pass to the corner though ... right on the money

In the late first or early second qrtr, on their second TD drive, Smith threw a laser between 2 defenders with graet position, a laser that they simply had no chance to defend.

His 47 yard TD pass was a perfect a throw as you will ever see, laid right over the receiver's right shoulder and just out of reach of the corner and safety, who were right on his ass.

On that fade pass to the corner you mention, the DB can nothing but throw his hands up in frustration, because it was simply a pass that was so perfectly placed that there was no way in hell to defend it.

This kid has all the tools.

Arm strength to make all the throws, great pocket awareness and mobility, and outstanding field vision.

So Indy went from Manning to Luck, will New Orleans go from Brees to Smith? Kind of looks like it.

He's no D lineman / Pioli

I'd give up two firsts, hell entire drafts, and your first born.

Bump 09-29-2012 06:09 PM

LMAO
We could have a cut out of Geno and rip off a piece per loss. He'd be clothed of course. Sorry Clay,

I said a while back I would gladly give our whole next two drafts up for him.

We'll pick 3rd, and Pioli will trade down. Lol

Nightfyre 09-29-2012 06:25 PM

We'll pick sixth. The draft will go:
1) Smith
2) Barkley
3) Jarvis Jones
4) Wilson
5) Manuel
Then we will totally reach for John Jenkins

RedDread 09-29-2012 06:32 PM

I'm sold. Tank the season.

Or, the Chiefs luck, they'll have the number one pick, and Geno will decide to pursue his dream of running for city council in his hometown.

If he wants to be a politician, we will have dodged a bullet, imo. ****ing politicians.
