Problem is, the Saints can now play keep away for a while and only need a FG to win this.

The risk was, you didn't get any points. But the upside is, if you got the TD, and convert that XP, well then the Saints have no choice but to go for a TD.

If you don't make it the Saints are still pinned, and if you do get it, they need a TD to beat you.

Then again, you haven't used Todd Gurley for the entire game in favor of a fat street free agent. McVey has coached this game like he has a traumatic brain injury.

you kick the FG and tie...not bad
you go for it on the 1 and don't get it with 5 min left....risky

but if you trust your D to hold a tie I think you would trust them to hold at the 1 though the clock hurts you more there

Anderson has been better than Gurley since he was picked up though.

Fraud. Simple as that. His entire M.O. is supposed to be NOT coaching like he's Jeff Fisher or Marty or some guy from the 70s.

It's all moot if Goff just grabs his sack, though. I blame him more. Although it could work out well for us because NO is clearly a better matchup. Not a chance in hell old man Brees can keep up with Pat.
