You can't be serious? Villanova was ranked #1 for a lot of the season. They weren't an inferior team.

Self's defense locked down the 2nd best offensive team in the country (Nova only went 4/18 from three after crushing teams there all tournament). Unfortunately, the offense didn't play well at all (it didn't help that the team's best scorer had his worst game of the season by far and Selden went 0/6 from three on entirely open shots).
