In terms of pure value, Chris Johnson and Dustin Keller are well above everyone else at this point.

If I were going CB, I'd probably go Godfrey.

Benedict would also be a good pick here, IMO.

Wheeler, Crable and Gooden.

A little early for Eddie Royal, IMO.

I don't think Keller or Johnson have good value to our team with this coaching staff....

Shawn Crable got marked off my list before this draft ever started when I got this team. Crable is 6'5 and in a cover 2 would have to play DE, he's a OLB in 3-4 schemes.

You're pretty paranoid for a mock draft.

OTW58 is a fair guy....he's not going to steal your pick.

chiefscafan 03-19-2008 04:22 PM

ok pestilencea good luck there are some great steals here in this round

Mecca 03-19-2008 07:24 PM

Hey sorry about that, I had a lovely screw up with my road runner....love when they decide to do their upgrade shit in the middle of the day.

Mecca 03-19-2008 07:44 PM

Ok after long studying, deliberation and break down of talent and consideration this is the 3rd round....

I fully expect bitching about this pick but with our coaching staff, our head coach and the type of team this should be built into.

Value of positions, this is when I thought about it an easier pick. This is a deep CB year and it makes some guys that in most years wouldn't fall, fall.

So with this pick the Chiefs will take a player, with 1st round talent, and all the tools you look for in this at his position. Great speed, good size....

With this pick the Kansas City Chiefs select...... Justin King CB Penn State

When I thought about it overall he was just to talented not to take here, CB's are much harder to come by than LB's, especially ones with his natural talent. The deep CB year has pushed him down in some years he'd be a lock 1st rounder.

He's also a returner so he helps in more ways than one, every one of his faults is coachable, in the 3rd round it's worth the risk.

If there is one position I trust Herm to work with it's this one.

Directly from chiefscafan's PM:

the panthers select with their pick RB Chris Johnson from eastern carolina

reason:

compliment to deangelo williams to form a lightning quick one two punch. Also with that 4.24 speed a danger on kick off and punt returns
