Someone else to not be worried about.

KU landed an Ole Miss big man transfer, Dwight Coleby.

I heard this weekend Fred Hoiberg's daughter has made her college selection and will be attending a Big 12 school, not to anyone's surprise. When I googled it, the Cyclone board was also discussing her potential landing spot.

What a week for KU.

Make the Big 12 change its rules after being assaulted on the court, find out record revenue and payouts from the conference, land another tremendous basketball player and now being showcased as the campus opposing coaches send their children.

Wow.

It's still cute that Rusty and so many ISU fans actually thought Hoiberg was staying there long-term and not just using the program as a stepping stone job for the NBA. They should have been prepared for this.

But, but, but, Ames is such an ideal place to raise a family and a great place to contend for national titles.

Regardless, I wish he would have stayed. Can't blame him for bolting though.

Good offensive rebounder (13.1 OR%), really good FT shooter (80%), and a decent shot blocker (6.3%). He could be a solid player down the line.

His brother Kadeem Coleby who played for WSU was a high motor guy and certainly wasn't soft.

I would have preferred Chukwu from Providence but not terribly upset landing a big man who may produce some solid depth down the line.

Big money + the Chicago Bulls vs. Iowa State...not too tough a decision.

We need as many big men in here as Self can get.

I agree they were a bit delusional to think he would stay....
But he did lead them on a bit with some of his comments....

It’s my dream job,” Fred Hoiberg said. “There’s something special about Iowa State basketball, especially when you grow up in this town.”

"I'm really excited about our future," said Hoiberg. "I hope to coach here until I retire."

"That's something I've talked with recruits this year that I've got a long-term contract and a lot of kids ask about that. It's very important."

Love how Rustynutsack has moved on so quickly....almost like he doesn't want to remember all the ignorant shit he spewed out regarding the Mayor being their LTC....

Wow.

Even the ISU employees have kids dying to head to Lawrence.

Once lil Hoiberg gets a taste of AFH, she'll be a Lifer

RustShack 06-01-2015 09:44 AM

Nah she will still be an Iowa State fan who went to another school for a degree.

You spelled Chicago Bulls wrong.
